Dimash is pronounced Dimarsh just drop the “r” when spelling. Dimash’s last name is actually spelt with a Q in Kazakhstan but can also be spelt with a “K” Due to a Kazakh tradition. Di has customised ear pieces which he wears all the time. His amazing Chinese fans also purchased as a present a blue microphone which he uses in China. Dimash's last name starts with the letter which you don't have in English. That's why we used Kudaibergen mostly before but now start to use Q in Qudaibergen because it's more like in native. Then we use/used Kazakhstan but it also sounds more like Qazaqstan. In Qazaq it sounds more like khazakh. I say Men khazakhpyn-I'm Qazaq. Qazaqstan starting changing their letters from Cyrilic to Latin.

So apart from having a phenomenal once-in-a-generation voice, playing multiple musical instruments and being educated in classical and contemporary music, Dimash also knows how to rock fashion. He carries off deconstructed looks like a runway model, looks like royalty in Kasachstani folk outfits, could be a Rat Packer in a tuxedo, is super hot in a leather jacket and at the same time in non-performance videos he just comes off as the boy next door in jeans and a T-shirt goofing off with his friends and family. He really is quite funny, humble and doesn't at all take himself seriously. He only takes music, performance and his fans (whom he calls his Dears) seriously. Dimash has modeled and been on multiple magazine covers and has been voted "Most Handsome" in numerous polls. I think you would really enjoy the MV of Be With Me, which looks like a Bond movie.

Dimash is to voice what Michelangelo is to art. The world does not have a recorded artist that has ever been as capable in all forms of vocal interpretation. As a Doctor of musical arts and science, it is my humble opinion that Dimash is a gift long-awaited and in need by the world. Aware or not, Dimash is far more than an entertainer, he is a healer for those in desperate need of reconnection. Perfect resonance, perfect balance in an unbalanced world.

Hey Curtis, new subscriber here, and a Dimash fan. In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful songs ever, written by a Japanese songwriter. Dimash sang a Chinese version the Chinese show The Singer. The story is behind the song is heartbreaking. It was originally written by Japense songwriter Koji Tamaki about Yoshiko Yamaguchi, a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. During that time and perhaps still today there was a lot of hatred for the Japanese in Chinese culture. Thus, this lady hid her Japanese heritage using the name Li Xiang Lan. The Chinese audience adored her, not knowing the truth that she was Japanese. However, after the war, her real identity was exposed and she was so scorned by the people who once loved her, that she was deported to Japan. She never saw the country of her birth, China, again.

Great reaction! The song has a background that you should check out further. A Chinese born Japanese actress becomes famous and beloved in China during WWII. After the war her heritage is discovered and she is rejected and exiled to Japan. This is her song saying goodbye. Of course Dimash becomes famous for singing it in the Chinese show The Singer in Mandarin. And now years later he sings another interpretation in Japanese. Seriously, like who does that? Dimash. I think you need to react to one of Dimash’s English covers such as “Hello” by Lionel Ritchie….or maybe “The Show Must Go On” by Queen…or his “Earth Song” rap fusion with Victor Ma…so many choices…
@TimothyCurtisBeard2 жыл бұрын
Ohhh wow 😯 yo Alaric, seriously thank you for the background information 👀

Nice reaction, again 😊👍 Don`t worry about the pausing, you need to for copyright anyway ; just go back 5 seconds, so you don`t miss any transition :) Glad you enjoyed that ending, some miss it :))) ___The song "Ikanaide" is based on a real life story : written metaphorically as a plea for a loved one not to leave, the song actually describes the pain of an actress that had to go into exile. True story : Yoshiko Yamaguchi was born in China, hid her japanese heritage under a chinese name, became very loved. After WWII, her heritage was exposed, she was arrested, accused of being a japanese spy, and sentenced to death. She was ultimately cleared of charges, but was advised to leave the country, as she risked being lynched. The song metaphorically describes her pain in separating from China and her chinese name ___Original "Ikanaide" was written and sung by Koji Tamaki (1989), and he sings it very breathy, so Dimash, when he did his cover, also used a lot of breath, as a tribute to the original. This is the first time Dimash sang in japanese, and the japanese reactors said he sounds perfect :) And one of the original co-writters of this song said that he managed to convey the deeper nuances of the song. He sang the chinese version of this song, called "Autumn Strong", back in 2017, in The Singer competition. It was the first time he sang in chinese, with only 1 week to prepare, and he worked very hard to get the pronunciation right, so that the audience would appreciate his performance. He chose the song as a tribute to the chinese audience, as they had been very supportive of him. The soprano notes that Dimash uses in both versions, represent the woman`s inner cry and pain.

@lovesyoutube85912 жыл бұрын
@@TimothyCurtisBeard Yeah, Yoola is doing that, they were hired to tend to Dimash`s youtube videos, and since then it all went haywire with the copyright. Dimash`s team never did that. Anyway, Stranger is the only one giving a lot of hard time to reactors. They go around copyright issues with one of these options : blurred image / semi-transparent still image over the video / reducing the opacity of the video and pasting words over it + pausing a few times. Some reuploaded it later with the image altered by one of the methods I described. For any other video from Dimash (especially newer ones), reduce opacity to 25% from the start and it should be fine. Oh, and do you think you could change your format so that you occupy the big screen, and the reacted video is the small part ? (instead of you being in the small window)

Even when we (Dimash's Dears) listen to his songs for the very first time, we need to pause to catch "our" breath, too. Great review! Here's some information that might help you to navigate Dimash's performances. Dimash's surname is often presented with a Q or K. QUDAIBERGEN or KUDAIBERGEN. Both are OK, but Dimash prefers Qudaibergen. KOO...DIE...BER...GHEN. Dimash's parent company is called DIMASHALI, solely owned by Dimash and his Family. Hence, Dimash is professionally classified as an Independent and cannot be controlled by any other company or producer. In Russia, Dimash's name is spelled Kudaibergenov. (OFF) In China, Dimash's first name is spelled, Dimashi. Sounds like... Dimaa...She. It is a sign of affection for him. Hope this information is helpful. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. ❤️

Love this performance!!! Pronunciation is Dimash: dee-MOSH’ (rhymes with gee gosh) Kudaibergen: coo-die-BEAR’-ghen. Some accent the final syllable (ghen rhymes with the American pronunciation of again). Russians add another syllable at the end coo-die-BEAR’-ghen-off. More Dimash please?

I learned about Dimash about a week ago and I have had some of the same reactions. I love a lot of different genres from all periods, but this has hit me like nothing else. Your reactions...coming from such a cool dude and artist, are as validating as they are fun to watch. I feel so fortunate to be alive at this time and to be able to witness a truly amazing performer who is in a class of his own. The world is just now beginning to discovering him. I am so glad that he is surrounded by family and friends and has not been corrupted by the bizz.

Don't let people bully you into NOT pausing, A. your gonna have to for copyright or get blocked B. True Dears love to see reactors go back and check out the juicy stuff. We've already watched the videos, probably 100's of times LOL. Just be sure to never pause during a Dimash moment. Do it when it's over, then pause go back and comment. I almost wanted to push pause for you after his high Soprano notes, so you'd go back LOL. Great reaction subbed. 😎

What he uses to the greatest effect is the basis of all classical singers - know your resonance chambers and spaces within your head and how best to inflect and to point the sound so that you aren't overtaxing the vocal folds. Breath control, intonation and resonance all in balance. His training is spot on.

He sang this song in mandarin and Japanese, there are different versions of the song that show different passionate reactions according to the feelings. Look at his version called Autumn Strong, broke my heart.

As a reactor you do need to pause to give your thoughts on the song and singer. I don’t know why you shouldn’t react to live performances because they are different each time and evolve each time he performs them. Keep going. You are doing great❤️❤️

He actually sings the title in the song, but it's "ee kana ee day" it's Japanese. This is a version of a Chinese song he sang on Singer that was called "Autumn Strong"
