I am a Brit who’s lived in the UK all her life. These are my rankings on today’s snacks. Jaffa cakes are like Pringles. If I had any less self control I would eat an entire pack of 30 in 5 minutes. 10/10 Bourbons. Nice and classic. Really good for a biscuit. Doesn’t really reach the heights of the Jaffacake. 8/10 Fruit Winders. Alright. Sort of the b-tec version of the ones covered in sugar you get at cinema pick ‘n’ mix’s. 5/10 Liquorice Allsorts. I hate liquorice. These are slightly more bearable than regular liquorice. 2/10 Penguin. Honestly, just a Bourbon but better. Plus you get a joke. 9/10 Twiglets. Honestly, these are sort of weird. Eating a Twiglet is like people who eat ridiculously spicy stuff just because they like the pain. Twiglets are terrible but for some reason I just sort of want to eat another one. Still kinda terrible. Have some Marmite and butter on a crumpet instead. 4/10 Terry’s Chocolate Orange. Honestly these are great. Super fun to eat. Only slight complaint is the thing I have with all chocolates, is that it often get’s a bit too rich for me so I only have a little bit at a time. But honestly if my only complaint is that I can’t have too much. You’re probably doing something right. 9/10 Jammy Dodgers. These also have the Jaffacake and Pringles problem. I love them too much and would eat entire packets in one sitting if I didn’t have some self control. 10/10 Ginger nuts. They’re fine. But I’d rather have a digestive any day. Maybe I’m just not a big a fan of ginger as other people. 6/10 Chocolate fingers. These also have the Jaffacake and Pringles problem. But maybe not to the same degree. Still really great. 9/10 Space Raiders. Honestly, not the best crisps at all. To be honest, really just kinda average. When we have McCoy’s, Wotsits, Quavers, Monster Munch, Hula Hoops, Frazzles and Skips. Space Raiders are just sorta slightly below average for British crisps. 5/10 You should’ve included some Scottish ones too. Tunnocks, Tablet and Rowies are some of my favourite. Honestly, if Tablet was included in this list you would have to bump every other score down by 1 to give Tablet the sole 10/10. And Rowies are the final form of a croissant. They’re just amazing. All incredibly unhealthy but amazing. Sidenote: Jaxon is the only one able to do a half decent English accent, I actually know someone who sounds kinda like his attempt at the accent.
