What a great documentation of what it means to be a first accentionist. So much adventure and an awesome story. So often the send is the focal point of a climbing film but it’s the life changing experience that can be foreshadowed. In these Mission Suicides ! it is better to Double your Ropes and have over supply of Bolts to triple the Number of Bolts into the Rocks to prevent a sudden fall and causing your weights to pull down the Bolts [ Anchors ] from the Rocks ....

Could you post information on conservation status of the spider, as well as the other insects, plants etc that existed in the crack? Is it possible that the climate emergency, coronavirus pandemic and whatever is to come next, will make us think holistically about what a first ascent means? Sometimes it will be fine to do one, sometimes not - but as with many other endeavours, don't we need to be explicit about the code of ethics we are following?
