I am working with my Standard Poodle puppy to learn spin. What command do I use? If I simply say spin, how does she know if I mean right or left?

Exactly what I did except saying good spin it was just "spin". Took about 2 months and was the longest he's taken to learn a trick without a lure/treat.

When moving my right hand to MY RIGHT causes the dog to spin to HIS LEFT. Wouldn't the command be SPIN LEFT?

You can use twirl for a left spin, and spin for a right spin.

Teach her how to lure then fade out the treat.
