I've raced there when it started out muddy and got progressively worse to the point where riders were falling on the hill and having to ride down and try again. Then they'd banner off the uphill/downhill and have riders do a u-turn at bottom of horsepower hill and go straight down to the Chuck Sun jump. That was years ago before they made a habit of canceling local amateur races there everytime there was a threat of rain.
