I have the same set up in my 2018 and love it, i get the crackles and backfires any time when is cold outside and it is the best sounding exhaust for the ecoboost cars, not too loud and annoying either

You forgot to add that a minor adjustment to the muffler hangers may be required to center the exhaust tips in the rear bump cutouts. Other-wise great install vid. ✌🏼

I changed to Ruthenium spark plugs and I get zero pops or backfires now. If you're still running stock plugs in your EB, Change them! No matter the mileage. Change them today.

Heat from the exhaust, humidity and road salt all leave their mark pretty easily. Live in the Northeast like we do and it happens even faster. -Zach

Wow it has 0 drone and can also sound pretty aggressive when you really get on it. Real nice :ok_hand: To anyone with knowledge in exhaust systems, can you put an aftermarket exhaust on a car with active exhaust or no? I know active exhaust is a valve that electronically opens and closes and is usually at the tips or in the mufflers... So could you technically still get aftermarket res (or delete), etc while still keeping the functionality of your active exhaust? ... Hopefully that made sense :S

Absolutely makes sense! With Ford's active exhaust system, you can pretty easily cut out the factory resonator and replace it with an X-pipe, H-pipe, or aftermarket resonator. We actually have a video where we show you the sound difference when you install an X-pipe in for that resonator that you can check out at the following link! Borla's ATAK System will be ever so slightly louder with a bit more rasp when you're really getting on it. When you're cruising you won't get any drone with just the cat-back installed though! -Zach

You can make a pretty gnarly Ecoboost, it's just a different animal compared to the GT. Nothing wrong with them either. -Zach
