I recently purchased and installed my MMD V2 and this video was very helpful. I really appreciate it’s aggressive appearance. I needed to work on the ground so I used two piece home made ramps from two 8’ long 2x12’s cut at 36 and 60 inches and concrete blocks. I braced the underside of the 2 by’s with a brick. I allowed enough clearance to back off the ramps but it was tight maneuvering under it during installation. It’s fitment was perfect. If you use this installation method, try not to drop your screws and pushpins in the grass. I put a shower curtain down because of fire ants and still had a hard time finding the ones I dropped due to the tight space. I can learn from other folks reviews and try to avoid running it into a curb, driveway or speed bump that appears too high.

Or speed, had mine for less than 10 days and it flew off on the highway at 100mph... Cleanest break on each side, proving the ABS used is too rigid/is shit because it literally broke due to the drag force of the air at higher speeds smh

@@joshuatatum1496 I hate to hear it Joshua. I’m not going to mention how fast I’ve driven with my splitter installed. This was after bumping it on driveways a couple of times trying to get across heavy traffic. Fortunately, there’s been very little cosmetic damage and it’s still hanging in there.

I dont like how theres a space between the splash shield and the splitter. That kind of air at speeds can rip it off

This splitter is flimsy and sucks it cracked in the first week of having it... MMD needs to bring back the V1 it looked way better and it was sturdier

I still want to know why they are so expensive its just one plastic piece nothin special. I wanted a boss 302 splitter but charging $300 is just a rip off

So the way the splash shield mounts to the spoiler leaves huge gaps, I can't imagine it's good for aero or collecting filth from the road. This is dumb. The GT500 chin splitter at 170$ is a way better option!
