The next world cup in June/July 2026 has been given to North America, The US, Canada and Mexico will be joint hosts with Miami been one of the venues. You've got three and a half years to get your liver in shape so that you can party with anything up to 200,000 England fans that will arrive on your continent if England reach the final stages.

the FA actually told England fans they weren't allowed to sing the ten German bombers song during EURO 2020 or they would be banned. they said it was discriminatory and disrespectful. at the moment every German i have spoken too ive heard 1 of 3 things 1)its just a song they're having fun. 2)we enjoy it as much as the England fans do. 3)we see them celebrating the defeat of an evil regime that doesn't represent Germany.

Definitely avoid Leeds in terms of a footballing team, they have recently readopted the ‘dirty’ tactics that originally made them infamous in the 1970s. There are some good teams in the Championship (2nd tier of English football) and it’s usually easier to get tickets. Try Aston Villa for a Premier League team. 😁 Tom Hanks and Prince William are famous fans!

I'm an Everton fan despite the fact it can be rather soul-destroying. The team has an illustrious history but hasn't been doing well in the last few years. Everton may end up fighting relegation again but the passion from the fans is always there. For them England in London, them crowds crowds they are from major tournaments on even years as they are summer events such as the World Cup (too hot this year for their summer, that’s why it’s in winter this year). They are staggered every two years (both are four years apart), so next one is the Euros in 2024. The season is from August through to spring with the FA cup final finishing proceedings.

The English Football league runs from August through to May with the Cup Finals (FA Cup & League Cup) at the end of the Season which are played at the National Stadium in Wembley, London. Been following your channel for months and know that you yearn to mix it up at a Match so if yer heading to Blighty next year, make it before May or after July 👍 Also, the Premier League is the most watched League in the World so demand for tickets are very high - the majority usually go to the "Home" Team with a couple of 1,000 for the "Away" fans that are primarily sold through the respective Team's Supporters Clubs so any spare tickets are extremely rare. Usual face value of tickets range from £30 to £60 each depending on Club. As you are not a member of a Supporters Club of your favourite Team, try sourcing tickets of your chosen game through Ticketing websites although you will pay considerably more per ticket but hey, your dream is to go to a top flight game so go for it. Also, the best way to find your Team is to watch several games over the season and choose the Team that excites you the most but remember... Loyalty is EVERYTHING - even when the results aren't going your way. You mention the difference between US chants and England's, to find out where the passion in England comes from, research English Football fans from the 70's & 80's and and learn about the Hooligan element that eventually got English Clubs banned from European competitions for best part of 10 years - a shameful period for England but you will certainly understand the Fans a whole lot better. English Football cleaned it's act up but the Hooligan element had already been exported into Europe by then and has since morphed into the "Ultra's" of each Team (hardcore fans) I'll try and post some links for you or search criterion for you to have a look at !!! Are you sure your Mam or Dad are not English? My wife is American, the first game I ever took was England v Turkey at Sunderland. She was blown away by the songs and Atmosphere. Even in town before the game and just as we set foot inside the ground, I big fight broke out between Leeds, Newcastle and Sunderland fans, if I remember right.

I think to give you some idea of the crazy attitudes prevalent some of us English have of the Germans, you & Lady Boomer might like to react to classic 80s drama "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet!" Especially the character Oz. The 1st series is about a group of guys having to go to work in Germany as there was no work for them anymore in Thatcher's f**ked up Britain. And it's uploaded to KZbin. I've also seen the 2nd series when they work for this crook firstly in Derbyshire, England where they work on turning this old criminals house who's fled to Spain into an old peoples home with some great laughs and then take a job working on this other crook's villa in Spain. Brilliant!

Tartan is the check-pattern cloth (Americans might call it plaid, but it's not quite the same thing) used to make kilts etc, predominantly is Scotland, but also parts of Ireland. Thus the Tartan Army is the Scottish supporters. The English were taking the piss out of the Scots, who had failed to qualify for the tournament being hosted in Russia (I think it was the 2018 World Cup).

These were all England fans AWAY from Home in Scotland (No Tartan Army In Moscow) mocking the Home fans as that game when England beat Scotland,ensured Scotland did not qualify for the next World Cup then Ireland ( f xxx The IRA) then all over Europe in the Town Squares of the match venue. Premier League season August 12 next year to May 19th year after. No play offs in the Premier League. Many other great games available in lower leagues. Prem tickets unbelievably hard to get hold of. Need pay a fortune on the secondary market or know an insider. Pick club, match and venue carefully. All looks fun and partying in the compilation videos but there’s considerable risk of violence in many matches, and certain clubs. On that subject do not go anywhere near Leeds - the club or the city. A handful of guys may be courting you and some chants may be funny. But the club has a major reputation for violence and all round nastiness. Leeds is in Yorkshire. People there have a unique (for U.K.) hostility to outsiders. Meaning anyone from outside Yorkshire. That translates into attitudes to people of colour, non-British people etc. The Yorkshire CRICKET club is currently reeling from investigations into racism. Imagine what the city’s football fans will be like. I’ve been to Leeds games and have had Covid. I’d rather repeat Covid. Now just wait and see the hostile replies come in to this comment! (BTW Leeds fans, I once met Don Revie and shook hands. He was a truly great manager and that was a great team. Not anti-Leeds, just anti racism, xenophobia, and violence.) Sorry to be negative Boomer, but really important to be cautious, do research. Football in U.K. is not all fun and partying and jolly chants.
