This episode hit me really hard, in many ways it's uncanny just how much of what happens in this show happened to me and my friends when we where this age. When I was 18 my family went away on holiday and left me in the house on my own for two weeks, as I was a selfish arsehole at the time I got them to put our dog into kennels while they where away so I could go out drinking and pissing about. Our 10 year old dog Sadie died in kennels the day before we were supposed to go collect her. I can't express just how distraught I was, the guilt was unbearable. It remains as the only regret I have in life 25 years later.

Normally a big fan of you guys reactions but I didn’t enjoy this one much at all if I’m honest. The episode whilst maybe not the best ever is still pretty funny but understand we’ve all our own views. I’m sure almost everyone loves dogs myself included, but I was pissing myself with the “I’ll never wank again” when Jays plan backfired after telling his parents Benji was shitting in the house. That as well as the massive sense of guilt and regret written all over Jays face when he sees the squirrel lying there…a little like when Neil punched the fish. He’d went all out not to be made to look a mug in front of his mates and realised his mistake instantly. There’s definitely humour to be found within their actions. I’m sure most of us did a little vandalism as teenage boys too. Of course I’d be pissed off if that happened to my garden nowadays, but it’s exactly the kinda relatable stupid shit a lot of us got up to back then. We come tit village 😆 Just felt you took it all way too seriously here. The additional editing/censoring didn’t help things either.

I respect how you guys cope with a hurricane. Here in the South East of England in 1987 we had a windy night which people still talk about 🤣 it's known as the Great storm of 1987, and some people say it was a hurricane 😉

Or was it the great wind of 1987?? (Vicar of Dibley reference ;) )

I'm a retired London firefighter, I was on duty on that windy night in 87. 18 people were killed and 15 million trees were blown down across the country, winds reached 89mph with gusts of up to 134mph. In a career of nearly 32 years, I can honestly say that I have never seen such widespread destruction, and being out in it was pretty damn scary, given a choice, I'd opt for the burning building. And yes.....I'm one of those who still talks about it 🤣

Where you at in East Sussex Dave? I was 6 years old in Peacehaven when it hit....about 5 mins away from the caravan site Rushy hill that got destroyed right on the coast. Scary night!

Highly recommend you watch Friday Night Dinner mate if you enjoy The Invetweeners. Got Simon Bird (Will) in it and Paul Ritter the legend!

I went to a Lincoln University open day a few weeks after this first aired. The Dean addressed the visitors and during his speech said, “trust me Lincoln is a lovely town don’t listen to the Inbetweeners!”. Luckily I didn’t go to Lincoln in the end, because “it’s a shithole”. 😉

I wasn’t able to watch the previous inbetweeners reaction because KZbin had age restricted it. I’m 32 years old but KZbin wanted photo ID to prove it. ☹️ Not sure if anyone else had the same issue. Edit: oh just seen your explanation! Appreciate you trying to make the video accessible.

I get people having issues they care about, like animals and peoples property etc. I care about those too, but this a comedy series. It's for entertainment, it's not promoting those things. Most of the content of this whole show is finding comedy in taboos, that some people find offensive. I dont understand finding all of that funny, knowing its offensive to other people, but suddenly cus they stray onto an area you particularly care about now it's too far and getting all judgy about it.

Yeah, personally I never found the flower kicking funny but I suppose I didn’t care enough about it to feel that annoyed with it. But they defo reacted quite strongly to it.

Kicking down flowers and running over a squirrel are not cool, but slamming the door on to an old lady is hilarious. A certain contradiction there....

Kinging squirrels or daffodils not funny. Breaking a old lady's nose, hilarious. Interesting. ..

The gag at 31:30 would probably have passed under your radar. Delia Smith used to be a TV chef, but Jay shows his ignorance & stupidity by referring to her as if she was a gardener.

It’s interesting to watch Americans watch this show. I don’t think I’ve ever known anyone get up and walk away as a show was too funny. Let’s alone several times in one episode.

Fun fact they didn't need to kill the squirrel or the dog but they did for authenticity and to get James Buckley to show genuine emotion...........

Your fish should be just fine for a few hours, depends on the tank but tropical fish wont be badly effected unless the temp change is very quick. I'v bred tropical fish all my life and I live in a country with rolling blackouts. If u stressed about your tank, you can wrap it in a towl or blanket. O2 is the real problem, u can buy oxygenation drops or tablets at most pet stores
