Tesco and many others or all others have done away with the 5p bags and now sell bags for life. 30p in tesco for the cheapest carrier bag. They were 20p last year. Last year I re-used carrier bags and put the money I would of spent in a jar. Ended up with over 40 quid at the end of the year so its surprising how much we spend on them
