I think space travel will be a whole lot easier for the Chinese with their appetite. The sad part is that Karl Pilkington is not an act. There's no alter ego being creatively funny here. He makes a living, thanks mostly (initially) to RG, by being himself. He's not that bright and says some genuinely ignorant things. At high school, he got one GCSE in history, grade E; it's almost impossible to achieve less. Once you know it's not an act, it's difficult to enjoy his material, if not impossible.
