Guys, fyi that's an old song from 1996. They just remake it and this song is like a sweetheart song to koreans especially 30 and 40 year old koreans. This song to me is a cute song that brings old memories.

If you celebrate Christmas (or if you don’t but you want to greet your viewers who do celebrate it) then by all means please wish them MERRY CHRISTMAS. All haters saying they’re “offended” can simply click out and choose a million other youtube channels to watch. This is Christmas season and you have the right to celebrate it, the same way a Jewish youtuber have the right to say happy hanukkah in their video post, and the same way someone has the right to wear their favorite red sweater without anyone telling them do not wear it anymore because it’s offensive to them simply because they hate the color red. Back to topic: to answer your question = NCT stands for Neo Culture Technology. Their well known two trademarks are experimentality and versatility and as you already saw with HOT SAUCE, they make different beat, different sound effects, different genre…they push the boundaries with each song and make NEO music that is their own sound. This is why for this special Christmas release CANDY, they decided to remake this original 1996 song with their own 2022 flavor. I’m really glad to see that beyond just a reaction like many youtube reactors do, you actually made the effort to study the lyrics to understand the point of the song, and bring it into discussion (and yes, the song is happy because what was originally supposed to be a break up plan somehow turned into a realization of and confession of love).
