@@Isleofskye I'm not talking about goals! I'm talking about ball feel and technique, look Haaland and Lewandoski can also score a lot of goals but will never dribble four defenders away. Ronaldo is good fast and an athlete but doesn't have the ball around his foot like Maradona or Ronaldinho!

His career might not be as great as Messi but he's a legend for sure. He is loved for his skills. In 5:56 if I'm not mistaken, the fans applauded him are the rivals fans of his club which he scored twice in that game. This doesn't happen always even with Messi (Almost never.) Even when we have Neymar now, Ronaldinho is still one of a kind.

it's the opponent fans, but it's special because it's the REAL MADRID fans who appaluded a BARCELONA player... it's like Putin applauding Trump... it's a legendary rivarly between those spanish clubs. Wtf are you talking about, Ronaldinho has more titles than Messi. The guy won everything in Brazil/South America, Spain/Europe, France, Italy, World Cup, Confederations Cup, Golden Ball, etc, etc, etc. No one on Earth has all the titles Ronaldinho has. Not even Pele or Maradona.

@@mattvideoeditor Ronaldinho 69 titles (I counted from wiki.) 699 apps and 266 goals. Messi 96 titles (Coincidence? Same from wiki.) 863 apps and 706 goals. Correct me if I'm wrong about the titles count. I just counted everything. Individuals and team awards. Do show and tell. And this is the part that made me said Messi have better career than Ronaldinho. Messi is playing close to 20 years now. 2004 - 2023. 1 more year to a 20 year career at the highest level. I'm not disrespecting or discrediting Ronaldinho but he should be half of that. I never took titles into account. Some of it are team based, some of it like Messi's are because other player just sucks compared to him etc. A 20 year career with 700+ goals? Obviously that's a better career. If you don't agree, then its not my problem. I'm not even a fan of Messi but even I have to admit that's an alien. Its video game stats. Its not like I'm saying Ronaldinho have bad career smh. From Transfermkrt Ronaldinho - 26 titles. Messi - 135(?) Titles. I swear I just counted all the titles listed. The tab said all titles. Like I said, Messi is playing Fifa.

He was lit for sure, and the excitement when he played was unbelievable. His flair and ability with the ball almost as though it were glued to him, just a sheer pleasure to watch him play. Nobody has created the same speed flair and ability since Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho was special. The kind of player where you can only imagine they must have been born with a ball at their feet, cause they are in full control of the ball all the way. Almost as if they're magnets or something! If he had been a bit more professional, and not a party animal, then Ronaldinho could have easily rivalled Messi and Ronaldo instead of retiring from top football at 30. But still, his talent was so immense he was one of the greatest to have played and we got to see him do incredible things. If you want to see something similar check out Diego Maradona! Similar to Ronaldinho they were both party animals, Maradona more so than Ronaldinho unfortunately (he had a bad coke habit). But holy smokes what a player he was. There's a video of him warming up for a match while the speakers are playing Life Is Life, and Maradona is dancing around with his shoes untied juggling a ball like it was nothing!

I think anyone who watched R10 play would agree that he was the most gifted player in the history of football. He could literally play with every part of his body. Prime R10 was far better than Messi and CR7. Though he won every cup there is to win in the game, I agree that he was an underachiever. He could have given more to football had he spent his time on trainings rather than nightclubs.

My number 1 artist in football history. Maradona also had incredible skills, but Ronaldinho surpasses that for me. That doesn't mean he's also the 'best' in terms of being effective and successful, obviously others like Messi and Ronaldo have had amazing careers but in terms of pure ball control they don't come remotely close.
