In an exercise a Vulcan flew along the Grand Canyon and the US defence had no idea until it suddenly appeared and flew at 200ft to its simulated target they kept changing the rules but every time the Vulcans got through. They even "attacked" the White House with three aircraft wiped out all radio and TV transmission around Washington and successfully dropped chalk bags to "destroy" the White House

Very important exercise. Just when you thought it was safe. In WW2 Britain had radar systems that could detect German planes 80 miles from British coasts. I’m thankful that 🇺🇸 and 🇬🇧 are allies

By the way, a 2 finger gesture with your fingernails facing away from you, is considered rude in the UK. It means f**k off

The famous "Agincourt Salute" French soldiers would cut off the first two fingers of an English soldier so he couldn't use a longbow The two fingered salute showed he could still use a longbow, aka "You're f....d"

You did butcher my name, don't worry, everyone does. It's Welsh. So glad you watched this. The US may have a massive military force, but the Brits only need the 1% non-effective air space and you're toast

They have one of these bad boys on display right next to East Midlands Airport. It's an absolute beast of a plane. I'd love to see the RAF get some newly designed and built models of these great planes. Updated for modern warfare, based on what we've seen and learned from the war in Ukraine. Now is the time to reinforce ourselves imo.

I think it's great the attitude of Americans watching this video "watch others on youtube" they start off "America is the best of the best of the best, nothing can attack us" but slowly as the video progresses their attitude changes to "W.T.F. did that really happen, we were nuked"........

Invite us over, clear the airspace so nothing is in the air unless it's the British... Still don't spot them 🤣 imagine how many might have got through if there were all sorts of other planes up there to cause confusion

It's the knowing it's going to happen and being left practically wide open regardless for me 😂 imagine if they'd had no prior warning (which would've been the case if it'd happened for real ofc 👀)

One year after this was the Cuba missile crisis. Hopefully because of this the USA were better prepared. The UK learned as well. This joint operations helped because if needed the British were ready to unleash the Vulcan's this time on our behalf, thank God it wasn't needed

How do you invite people over to test you, and clear the airspace so it's easier to spot them, and have more jets than the enemy to defend the airspace + know when they are coming, but still don't manage to stop it 😳 It's similar to the American delta forces that take on the British SAS in ground training exercises, but the British SAS keep winning even though they are outnumbered.

Arrogance, pure and simple. New York ATC didn't know the Vulcan who had 'nuked' them was in their airspace until she requested permission to land!!!!

An exchange in 2017 between president Trump and prime minister may about the Salisbury nerve agent attack. May:ofcourse we see this as an attack with a WMDz Trump: yes, ofcourse May: worse than that, a WMD attack against a a nuclear power. Trump: you guys have nukes? In trumps defense, it’s more important he knows about the nuclear countries that are his enemies not his allies. But still, good Jesus! We were the third country to get nuclear weapons. Could have been first if it wasn’t for the Japanese bringing you into the war.

There’s a reason why big, strong animals end up becoming zoo exhibits for relatively small and weak humans. Winning and survival has never been about how big and strong you are, it’s always about how smart you are.

The Vulcan bomber could fly higher than 56k/57k ft, it only flew at that altitude because thats all the USSR had available at the time. RIP vulcan bomber❤ and to think you knew we was coming twice😂😂 never underestimate British engineering

Nope. Nuclear weapons were invented during WW2 which took place in the 20th century. The USA became a nation during the 18th century (1776). So it couldn’t have happened before the USA became a nation.
