Being a Brit and seeing someone say they’ve never had Indian food is a shock to me 😅 It’s so popular here. Having one tomorrow actually! We go so much that all 3 of our regular restaurants we visit give us extra dishes for free 😂 Amazing food. I love going to India and getting the true authentic street food also. Such a great work perk of mine.

Have you ever tried Jalebi with Poha, because I have the same taste buds so they were given Jalebi at the wrong time after Kulfi they ate Jalebi, I would never do that, Jalebi is most of the time eaten with Poha or Samosa or Kachori.

When I was in second grade I had a classmate from India and his mom made jalebi for the whole class, I thought it was the best thing I had ever tasted but I could never find what it was just that it was a sweet Indian food so thank for helping me find it again!

Jalebi is actually supposed to be fried in ghee. It doesn't taste same is its fried in oil.

Jalebi (the last dish) is often served with Kulfi (the second to last). Thats is why one is extra sweet and the other less sweet as when eaten together Jalebi (often served hot/warm) is counteracted by kulfi (frozen) in both temperature and sweetness.
