And it’s always fun to see mixed reactions from the lil ones. It’s funny when some of them seem confused, some become fussy and some happily willing to leave their family for yours lol. So the lady was joking that you guys leave without shanti , she will stay here with the lady LOL. It might not make sense but it’s deeply rooted cultural thing we do. ❤

Should have gone and stayed in one of the Gurung villages around Pokhara valley like Ghandruk, Dhampus, lwang, etc. I’m sure you’d have even better experiences. You’d get to see their culture, beautiful mountains and also their hospitality is on another level. You’d get to eat local Chiken, sel roti and all that not only the dal, bhat and veggies everyday.
