So far all I have ordered is a Leer100XQ topper. The next thing I would like will be window tints and a Cobb Stage 2 kit. Then lighting with bumpers, wheels, brakes and suspension last... It’s going to happen pretty slowly, which will give me plenty of time to keep changing my mind on exactly what I want

Hahaha...I know what you mean about "limited" offroad driving. I have an older Raptor and bought it with the best of intentions to be off-road every weekend slinging mud...climbing steep hills...high speed desert stuff. 125,000 miles later and I've been off the pavement about 3 times. But at least it looks good going down the Interstate----LOL. Very nice video, Justin. Thanks for posting.

What's your advice regarding tuning and warranties? I just bought an '18 and want to tune it but don't want to void any warranty. I've been told that it can vary from dealer to dealer whether not or my warranty will be valid after a stage 1 tune. Anyone here have any input or experiences they want to share? Thanks in advance!

It’s too bad the interior is so damn cheap. The B&O Play is a huge improvement but the interior is rock bottom quality. Ford never really has had quality interior. It’s really too bad, but it is a Ford after all.
@americantrucks6 жыл бұрын
Really? I think compared to the previous gen its a nice step forward- but maybe its just me. Thanks for watching. -Justin
@bertraminc94126 жыл бұрын
Yes. It’s mostly plastic and fake leather. The door panels are cheap and the carbon insert has little to no thought. It feels like a random thought poorly engineered. There needs to be a quality leather option for the interior and the dirty feeling air conditioning vent surround coating is a plastic part as well. The interior is absolutely awful for a 71k truck. It’s really pathetic and suckers still buy it so Ford continues to cheapen it down in their primary objective.... which has NEVER been about quality, but only quantity and profit. American auto manufacture doesn’t care about you and quality. It’s about them and quantity. They know they can make considerable profit on service as well.
@alextrainor25526 жыл бұрын
Umm, all truck manufacturers are cheap like this.
@bertraminc94126 жыл бұрын
Umm, I agree with that. The reason for this is inherent American business philosophy. Americans have never build a car based upon quality. It has always been about quantity , not quality. And continuing this philosophy is the low standards typical American truck buyer who is enabling this awful cheap industry. If Americans stopped buying cheap trucks, these low character manufacturers would have to increase quality. It's the opposite as proven by the Raptor. Ford has done nothing to increase the quality and based upon trucks sold, they've actually increased prices to over 70k for a terribly cheap truck. They are rusted on the new car lots and have a history of leaking oil due to the high pressure of the EcoBoost turbo engine. This should have been identified and corrected before release but that would cost Ford money. There is little to no effort to hold a design until the flaws are corrected using testing. They put in out to the public and let the flaws manifest by using the buyer as a test and evaluation sucker. Then they correct your fucked up truck with a recall. They had Ford trucks with suicide doors actually open up going down the highway. Drivers fell out of Ford trucks onto the road but THIS is the philosophy of American auto manufacturers instead of high quality and tested products BEFORE release. They don't have meetings to discuss your life... they have meetings to discuss how much profit they can make, period.
