I am glad and was relieved he decided to leave instead of hurting or murdering my grandma.

Hey Lamont, I'm from a small town in North Carolina and there's a lot of people with the last name Bethea. Growing up, I always heard it pronounced as Bethea (Beh-thay). But anyway, Rainey had more than enough chances to turn his life around. It's unfortunate that lost both of his parents so young but after his last arrest he should have sobered up. He took the life of an innocent elderly woman in such a cruel way.

Hi! O what a tragic story all around. My heart goes out to people who grow up with no love, no family, no one to give direction. Mathea still could have made a different choice. Found your channel recently and been binge watching your videos, I do watch other true crime KZbinrs but I really like that you actually take the time to visit the places while telling the stories. I've also watched the video where you've talked about some ppl saying things like "you must enjoy the KZbin money " or something like that and all I can say is you're damn right, I wish you'd get paid even more, you spend time doing the research, drive far away to get to those places and lastly but most importantly it's not free to travel all around the US to show all of us those places, places that most of us wouldn't be able to see otherwise. Those ppl just don't think about how much money you're spending (especially with the price of gas) before making such comments and they're what I would call trolls or simply ignorant people. I gotta admit I wish I could join you on your trips, I'd love to travel all around the US and keep you company 😆

Thank you for bring us true history, even if it’s tragic ,we should know and never forget it . A-lot of our history is hidden ,,,this is a welcome lesson for sure . Please keep us posted for more . What bothers me more is the photos with the inmate and police ,,,it’s dehumanizing in my opinion

Thanks, Lamont for all your trouble, you go there and you show us the place where it happened, you show us the physical place where these people are buried. You honor them. It's great, what you're doing. The man was lucky that he was given the chance to die a catholic, and receive valid Sacraments by a priest. Most people today don't even have that chance anymore.

Thank you so much for taking us on your cemetery walks, Lamont. You're such a kind and thought soul which we need more of. There's a newish channel called "Murder She Shed" where Holly finds some really obscure cases to present. She could use some subscribers so pop over and check her out, I like to think she's a real piece of Americana just like Lamont is uniquely a one of a kind National Treasure. Much Love ya'll. ❤

Wow I never heard of this story, thanks for telling this poor lady’s story. They made a spectacle out of that man’s death and forgot why they was there, the victim.

I had no parents and raised myself since 14 in Detroit, I had a very bad childhood before this. I have never killed anyone and do not give sympathy for that reason. But this public execution! Jeez, shows people were no different then, they just have social media now.

I have been told as a child that there are consequences (good or bad) for your actions so you reap what you sow. It's easy to say the execution was unneeded, but this is not the Emmett Till story.

How did the neighbors hear squeaky floorboards but not a tussle upstairs?...I don't believe any of these cases against Black Men during Jim Crow

You have a great gift for telling stories and it makes it even better that you go on scene, but most of all you’re not bias. You tell it like it is no matter what the race in these stories are and that’s what makes me continue to come back for more. By the way I found you yesterday and I can’t even remember how many videos I’ve watched so far because I’m addicted.Keep up the great work brother 🤘🏼

@Cemetery Adventures and more Audits I understand INNOCENT people have been executed, but it DOES NOT EXPLAIN the FASCINATION!!! These people must lack something in their life. That's the only way I can explain it.
