Thank you Tom!!! Mokie's training is continuing and he's doing great. He's able to go on walks in the neighborhood and rides in the car without any reactivity. Unfortunately, my friend hasn't come over yet because he's been out of town. But maybe this weekend. I'm looking forward to him coming in the house as I now have the tools and confidence to take it to the next level. Thanks again and keep up the good work, Andy

Because of learning from KZbin about tools and there proper usage, my dog this morning was able to walk by two other reactive dogs without a peep. She just looked at them, I cued a leave it, she continued to watch and then assessed that they weren’t all that bad and turned away to sniff some grass. This is when these dogs were actively building on her! And one of them even reacted to her. With a prong collar and proper knowledge her life and mine has changed so much. Continue to spread knowledge.

@@kristenharper6925 she has also been able to do around the corner surprises with other dogs fine. I just back pedal and call her away. Or do a quick u turn. It is so nice not to worry and I know she is so much less stressed when we go on walks now.

Really felt it when he said "same old story." We tried positive only with our reactive ACD -- worked great for teaching her new "tricks" but did nothing to help with her reactivity and insecurity. Only since implementing things we've learned from these videos have we made any real progress with her! So thankful we found Tom's content. Dogs deserve to be happy and less stressed, it's the least we can do for them considering they love they give us.

I LOVE your reminder that it's OK if a dog doesn't love other dogs!!! Trainers put so much pressure on dogs and on their owners to get them being friends with everyone. And then we become emotional in our corrections because we were taught that it is wrong not to be a friendly doggy:((

I applaud him for getting the help he needed with his border collie. That’s a great owner right there. We went down to Cesar millan to one of his seminars for our border collie mix that we were having trouble with and it’s amazing when you have the right trainers it makes all the difference. The biggest thing I’ve learnt about border collies and border collie mixes is not only how much energy they have but how sensitive they are

I have a fear reactive boxer, 1 year old and am currently working with a trainer to help with that. Although I agree with her morals and approach to dog training, I have this underlying feeling like it is the wrong approach for my dog. Hers is about including stress-free/calming ways through mindfulness + mediation (roughly), play and praise rewarding, but I think my dog needs a more aggressive approach to get him over that fear. By aggressive, I mean more exposure to people and dogs in a controlled environment rather than just stay hundreds of feet away from them so he can barely see them in the distance. He is super friendly at daycares but just switches when on leash with us, reacting and barking at people from the car etc. I find he is a super complicated case, and my previous boxers were never like that. I wish I could find a trainer like you here in Nova Scotia, and trainers here are frickin expensive.

This was our dog to a lesser extent. He was a rescue found on the streets and he was skittish and reactive when we first got him. Watching many of Tom's other videos we were able to get our dog into a more relaxed state. He's not perfect, but a whole lot better than a year ago. He feels part of the pack now and it's good to see. He's a good dog.

Thank you for showing reactivity versus aggression and also the difference between shock and vibration collar correction. My rescue is 99% happy with All dogs and people since I got her in October. But, twice in the last two weeks she has been reactive to two different dogs. She was overwhelmed, nervous and maybe a little scared both times. Because of your videos I feel confident that I can work with her about this. She's a lovely dog. And I love her.

Great content… my 3yr old GSD is definitely reactive like this. A lot of his reactions are caused by my reaction, I’m a disabled combat vet, and I definitely don’t react the way I should in some situations ie: not interacting as well and avoiding interactions altogether. So I know it has trickled over to my GSD. Will definitely try putting these techniques to work since other trainers have not helped.

I’m so glad you went over how to address “stranger danger” in the home, my dog will bark at the slightest door knock sound and sounds very scary and “aggressive“ to people on the other side of the door. We have started taking him out to meet people coming over so we remove that barrier, which does help, but we are still working on unexpected knocks and guests!

I love that a border collie was featured! I have an adolescent border collie at home. Some insecurity and barking emerged when she went into adolescence. Definitely threw me a curve ball since this is the first dog I’ve raised. Hoping to not ruin my dog. Some of these changes I read are normal but working on eliminating the naughty behavior and hoping to raise a confident, happy, obedient dog. It can be frustrating having those set backs but she is great in other areas. Always trying to learn more, to do better. Thanks for the videos!

I'm not even half way through this video, yet. I'm so heartbroken for this BC. We share life with 2 BCs, and they're truly amazing, loving partners. My male has no concept for "stranger danger", thinking that everyone who comes over is there just for him 🤦🏻‍♀️ and my female (she's really my daughter's) isn't as insanely friendly, but is still very friendly. Both are such happy dogs. This breaks my heart, how this BC is. I'm so glad this owner is doing what he can to help his BC to find confidence and happiness. I hope that this owner and his dog can build their team and have nothing but greatness from here on out.

Great video! I have a 5 yo English Springer Spaniel that we just adopted, that apparently had no socialization. He reacts to anything that moves outside. Absolute gentleman inside with zero stimulation. Uncontrollable outside with stimulation. A leaf blowing by needs to be attacked. A squirrel, rabbit, dog or person. We handle ok, except when surprised.

OMG! That was my Aussie until just recently. She was aggesively reactive to other dogs, cars, and people. She's been calming down since I've taken her to an ex-large park. Still having problems with her at home when guests and clients come in. And she gets anxious crazy on a neighborhood walk when a car drives by to the point of ripping my clothes. Undoing 7 years of neglect in her training (or lack thereof) it's been a slow process over the two years I've had her due to some health issues I had the first year and a half since getting her. She's slowly getting better thanks to the training suggestions I've learned from these YT videos. Thank you, Tom (and thank you to the rest of your team).

These short videos are so helpful. You can learn a lot from them but with the full length videos in the Members Club you will learn so much more, it’s amazing. If you are really having a lot of problems, highly recommend.

My wife and I watch your videos all the time and try to use some of the techniques you use. We have a rescue that we have been working with for about a year now. She is a Dutch shepherd and seems to show some signs of aggression with our other fur babies. She has come a long way, and is incredibly better than she used to be, but I feel like she is no where near her true potential. I hope to continue to learn and help her through your training techniques. Thank you so much for everything you do. No Bad Dogs.

Tom and NBD Army-thank you for so many amazing videos. Even if I don’t see “my dog’s behavior” in a video I always walk away with information that I can use with my pup!

Rescued a year old Staffy from the streets and he's absolutely amazing and so smart, but, leash reactive to other dogs. We're working on it but he's also become space protective as he's found a home and protecting it. These type of videos help a lot. Thank you. :)

This is so cool to see! We have a Texas heeler who just kind of freaks out at everything and it's great to see other people having success with their herding breeds!

I have learned so much from your videos! But I know there is so much more growing for not only my reactive English bulldog, but also myself!

Absolutely love it! Our healer mix is reactive to new people and is 100% insecurity. Thanks for these realistic things to do!
