Thanks very much, Eric. Always enjoy your great content. I am enjoying the Rogers MasterCard now because I am using Rogers. 3% cash back is not bad. I agree that AMEX green card is not too bad...!!

about those cents per points with aeroplan. I just found a deal that gives almost 6 cents per points to go from Ottawa to Fort Lauderdale next March. 10000 points plus 100$ for a ticket that is 770$ that same day .. they can be found

Yeah but is that a route people fly on? Very rare...
@schenier3 ай бұрын
@lispmanfinance I'm from there. anybody from around ottawa who wants to go on a cruise, take that route. and that was only to show ONE example that they can happen. best is to use a site that gives you alerts on those deals

@@lispmanfinance another example . around 28000 (I forgot the exact amount) to go to Rome... or 20000 with AF

Hey bro, I am thinking about getting this card a few months after my first credit card. I know in the video you stated it’s easy to get however I was wondering if this card cared about your credit age. Since when I apply my credit age would only be a few months and I know some credit card lenders care about credit age so I’m not sure if I will be approved.
@dayulPH3 ай бұрын
I got denied upon applying with very early credit age in the past, this was for the cobalt. I strongly urge you to apply for the card after 6 - 12 months to be safe. But you might be lucky regardless. It's really a hit or miss. Got denied twice until I got approved.
@mununpatel70323 ай бұрын
@@dayulPHthank you for the information! I will take it into consideration before applying.
@Ziiks7713 ай бұрын
@@mununpatel7032don’t apply until 6 months. They instantly deny until after 6 months. And if you let’s say wait 5 months and apply they will deny you and you will have to wait another 3 months so it’s just better to wait for 6 months and get the cobalt card. Trust me from Experience

@@dayulPH Does getting denied for a credit card hurt your score?
@dayulPH28 күн бұрын
@@NotwProductions Applying for a card in general will move your credit score down (because of hard pulls on your report). So regardless if you get denied or approve, it's mostly the fact that they review your credit history (which triggers the hard pull on your report) will be the reason why your credit score will go down.

can I currently as a international student get accepted by amex card?
@lispmanfinance3 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, that's very unlikely. This is an entry level card but not as entry level as say BMO Student Cashback or other student credit cards. Start with those first. This can be you next card after you start working!
