As a Knicks fan I do feel the pain, Julius Randle is a great player when everything is going his way. When it doesn’t he turns into a cancer for the team. He’s blown up and argued with Knicks players and staff before. He’s a great player and grateful for what he did in NY but Randle’s short temper is detrimental to himself and his team.

Rob needs to play, I wish Finch would go deeper into his bench and ignore all the egos, just need some effort and energy out there with no agendas. I know it's different than high school, but it happened multiple times of the starters were not playing well and unloaded the entire bench for a short energy stint. I came off the bench with the 2nd unit and we would run and gun.

Instead, Ant gets the 2nd All-NBA selection (in May, they knew about the $30M salary aspect in fricking May !), the team comes back from summer break and the Olympics, prepares and then ‘oh yeh, KAT’s gone, here’s some new guys and the season starts in 19 days…. I watched the Wolves play the Celtics. Randell was like a black hole. When the ball went to him it rarely ever left him. It didn't matter who was on him, weather he was on the block or in the corner, his team mates just watched him do his thing. If that continues, no one will pass it to him and the will be playing 3 1/2 on 5, Rudy is the 1/2 on offence.

Kat doesn’t get enough credit for how he adapted his game last year to make having Rudy on that roster work. Them getting Rudy put them in a bind because it meant they had to trade Kat. The reality is they probably should have traded Kat AND have never picked up Rudy, because Rudy, at best, can get you to a second round exit, because teams in the playoffs will just spam pick and roll until he can’t even be on the floor anymore. Kat is the same deal-his rim protection and overall defense is poor enough that he caps your team out at a 2nd round exit in the west. Also, Julius Randle isn’t a winning basketball player. He has never bought in to playing defense his whole career. He’ll only start playing defense if he’s in a contract year. Let’s be honest-I.e., next season.

Ant evolution(35% to 44% from 3) happened because of screen assists(screen leading to open shot) from Rudy. Ive never seen a big so willing to set screens and do all those little things on offense. He is not a liability on offense. 14pts a game at 2nd best fg% of ALL TIME. Ant was and is nothing without Gobert. After watching Gobert in postseason I looked up his postseason stats during the Denver series he had the best +/- of all players in postseason.
