I remember playing this game as a kid, and after watching this video, realising that I only ever completed about 2% of it. The back and forth is quite relentless 😆

Funnily enough it was originally composed on Atari ST, then the music was ported to both C64 and Amiga, which is why it sounds so chip tuney.

Ah yes, still got this for my Amiga in a pack... Love it. I completed it on both my Spectrum 128k+2 and my Amiga 500+ (and Amiga 1200). I even got all the secret coins! 🤔 Or was that Fantasy World or MagicLand Dizzy? 🤔 Funny how so few Americans never really got this game. Not many Spectrum games really crossed the pond back then.

Remember playing this a long time as a kid working out the puzzles, sometimes with a friend, and of course you only had 1 life, so if you died. Had to start all over again! AARRRGH! Never got all 30 Coins back then but think I managed to get off the island. Just replayed it today on the A500 Mini. Epic Nostalgia but I had to work a lot out again as Id forgotten it… Was a bit easier on my Brain now I’m 41 though! 😊

who remembers the cheats lol, eggonlegs and icanfly on the title screen god i miss going to the local store to pick up cuamiga and the other mags for the demo disks and such, my fav machine of all time Amiga for life, just wish they had not gone under, their stuff was the stuff of dreams at the time. :-) well i am older now and love my PC who knows what the future holds, i even have my fav game now the original Settlers cus i found out that bluebyte are now part of ubisoft so they have that game available and fully working on pc, so many night spent with my friends and family conquering each other lol. have fun everyone goodluck in life :-) sshhhh i have an amiga 600 and 1200 in my loft stored away one day they will come out again lol

Ah remember this game for the Amiga A500+, remember the slick music. Don't think I played it much though because of the difficulty level. Think I returned the game along with Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park wasn't what I expected. Played Captain Planet longer.

@@thisnthat3530 Ha, I remember that one. It's as soon as you enter the screen. Pick up the bush/leaves and it's there! Funnily enough, the 1st one I found and it was purely a mistake! 😂 God I loved this game, along with the first and Fantasy Land Dizzy. There were a couple more Dizzy adventure games that I never got to play. In fact, one unreleased Dizzy game came out just a couple of years ago for that Evercade thingy!

The game was made for a spectrum - they improved the gfx for amiga and atari ports 2 years later but they weren't going to rewrite the whole thing especially as it was only a budget release to begin with.

I remember this being the 'best thing ever' when I got my Amiga. Has aged poorly, to say the least. Would play something like Turrican 2 or even Jet Set Willy over this. The music in particular is grating.

Had them all on Spectrum and then my Amiga... Loved them all. *Sigh!* Edit: I had Fantasy _World_ Dizzy and _MagicLand_ Dizzy!

I finished it with the cheat from the codemasters hotline, e.g. 'I can fly' - just made it less tedious to get through being able to fly.

If I remember correctly, It stops you getting electrocuted when you exit the pirates grave. If you leave without it you get struck by a lightning bolt.
