first 45 single I've bought in my life (still one of my favourites!) love to play this song in my DJ sets - best justification for using a strobo light (at 1:40)! one of most underestimated disco stars. she is living in Italy since mid 80-s, still active in entertainment and looking great (with platinum bangs) - love you Amii!

Yes, totally underrated! In the 80s she sang a short tune for Martini(Upps-may I say that? ;-) an LP produced by Giorgio Moroder wasn't that great-astonishing, regarding the team! She still looks great, yes.. The best thing about her was her vocal range, which included several octaves! Every 60ies oldie cover from her sounded better than the original!

I think the over emphasis on covers and might have been her downfall. She's got the total package - stellar vocals, dance skills , beauty - she should have been more famous. Her breakout song (Knock on Wood) was such a massive hit that the business kept trying to repeat the formula of turning old classics into disco songs instead of supplying her with original material.

I loved her back in the day and had her first album, she was amazing. Such a powerful vocalist with incredible range.
