I think she was 14 when she sang this, it was written for her. She appeared in Hollands got talent when she was 9, her grandmother saw the electrifying affect her audition appearance had, but then passed away before seeing her win the competition. It's a beautiful song, with a lot of emotion, but it doesn't demonstrate her range which is astounding. She is 19 now, and in a gap year between school and college. Her latest released video is called simply Amen and she sings it with an African choir called the Ndlovu youth choir. She has a back catalogue of 10 years worth of jaw droppers, enjoy listening to them. I subscribed in the hope of seeing some more.

A great reaction,thank you.Before Amira entered Holland's Got Talent,she had not received any singing or voice coaching lessons what so ever,Prior to going on stage at HGT,Amira was given a few voice coaching tips,from some of the organisers of HGT.Up to that point,Amira had tought herself to sing,between the ages of seven to eight.She achieved this by watching and singing along with videos on You Tube,of Luciano Pavarotti, Maria Callas and Andrea Bocelli.After Amira won HGT, she was Invited by Andre Rieu, to attend one of his voice coaching workshops in London.After this he invited her to sing at two of his concerts in Maastricht,The Netherlands.This was a knockout.The audiance reaction,priceless.A new Rising Star was born.Check out the video and prepare yourself to be amazed.Cheers from, Michael Jonathan Lewis, Johannesburg,South Africa.

Amira yes has one of those voices that get to you as soon as you hear her sing. For the best you should react to one of her big stage performances, that's where you see her full potential, not to mention her amazing stage presence. I am sure that Thomas has recommended a few of them to you.. there are so many stunning performances by ger to choose from! Amira is a one off...very special.

Hello Duane . Amira is an old soul , like said one jury of Hollandz got talent , in all the sense . She born adult and she born singing . If you learn to sing for yourself at 7 years old and at these age you drives all the fundaments of the technic perfectly , you belong to Heaven . And if at the same age ( 7 years old ) you have the idea of to help to South Afrikaan children , and 7:45 and at 10 years old you create your own fundation , you was sent by God . If you at 11 years old sing in 9 lenguages , you are an angel . If at 14 years you sing like Amira , you belong to Heaven . Amira is all this and much more

Hi Duane, first time on your Chanel & I like what I see & have subscribed. Amira & Angelina are mirror images if you look at their journeys, even down to their philanthropic tendencies. Both are geniuses at their craft ,but as far as musical genre goes, are poles apart. Amira is a World class Soprano who has millions of fans worldwide, but being a Soprano, unfortunately does not get the exposure of more common place music genres. Amira has the most perfect voice with a perfect pitch. Amira has the most angelic voice I have ever listened to. Not only is she a superb singer but also a superb performer. Check Amira's performances on the big stage, you'll see what I talking about. Typically the performances in Classics are Groot(great) series have audiences of around 7000 and you won't go wrong choosing any one of these. She also has some songs on YT from her steaming series which are brilliant. Amira has a huge fan base be bold check her out and bring along the tissues.

Great reaction! Amira (which very appropriately means "princess" in Arabic!) was 13 here. She is now 19. She's from Holland, won Holland's Got Talent at age 9/10, performed with Andre Rieu at age 10 singing "O Mio Babbino Caro" (same as her HGT audition), and has been residing in South Africa with Mom & brother Fincent for the past few years. Go to her channel, close your eyes, point your finger at ANY of her performance titles, and you have just chosen a WINNER -- every time! She sings opera, classical crossover, and Christian. She is VERY wonderfully vocal about her deep Christian faith, and her life, personal values, & philanthropic work show it!

In contrast you might also like her contribution to her school concert soon after she moved to South Africa (2018). Not what you normally expect from a school concert! Amira is now 19. This year, when visiting the Netherlands, she sang in the Delft concert (in several languages), also, in a more informal setting, Gesu Bambino.

I have to agree with another of your subscribers in that Amira and Angelina are on parallel paths, both incredibly talented, both incredible humanitarians, both won Got talent, Amira in Holland when she was 9 years old, Angelina in Norway at 8 years old. It would be great if you react to all of Amira’s performances on Holland’s got Talent, then at 10 singing with Andre Rieu’s orchestra in Maastricht, O Mio Babbino Caro, absolutely fantastic. Age 12 singing a duet with Patrizeo Buene, O sole Mio, and many more. You won’t be disappointed!

If this is the first song you hear from her, then you have chosen the wrong song. It sounds nice, it's a song she dedicated to her grandmother who unfortunately passed away. But this song doesn't even begin to show what Amira can do. She has many performances where she is just phenomenal, where she gets a standing ovation from thousands of people. This video is just nice.
