Hi, Paul! Great reaction as always! Playing the guitar is the husband of the great pianist Deveraux van der Hoven-Oosthuizen, who did the magnificent arrangements of Amazing Grace, this version of My Way, and other great Amira hits. The pianist is the talented Charl Du Plessis, Steinway ambassador and who was the musical director of the concert African Christmas with Amira and Friends. The singer who came in right before Amira is Ruhan du Toit, who recorded with Amira the songs Barcelona and Follow Your Heart. And the last mezzo soprano to enter is Corlea Botha, who sang Flower Duet with Amira. I recommend reacting to these 3 performances by Amira (Barcelona, Follow Your Heart, Flower Duet).

Interesting choice. It gives a glimpse of the enormous South African talent Amira was performing with in those big concerts there.

At 6.22 the guy you asked about is Ruhan duToit. He and Amira have done several duets together. Fabulous voice . Check out his version of The Sound of Silence. He's big-time in South Africa, as are all these singers in their genres. They always finished these concerts with a brilliant song which all the performers sing like this together and the musical arrangements are great.

Used as the ending of the concerts Classic is Groot. Amira was a part of the shows 2016-2019.. They song it their way. The shows are fantastic. Having rock to classical. I bought all the DVDs and a new DVD player to play them in the states. There is a lot of talent in South Africa. Yes is Amira is number one to me. This particular show she did Amazing Grace , Nessun Dorma, and The Flower Duet. All worth a view. Something else the first guy Joseph Clarke did a fabulous Bohemian Rhapsody, in the 2018 show, which is on You Tube on Ray Vandenburgs channel.

They all come on at the end of Classics is Groot to do a line from the closing song. It's a large cast, the show is couple of hours long. Spotted Corlea Botha who does the Flower duet with Amira, I usually cherry pick Amira from my dvd so can't name the others. Frank Sinatra had a huge hit with My Way. Adopted it as his own. Originally it was a Paul Anka song.
