He's personally taking supplies into these areas and knows first hand the realities of the areas he and his followers are servicing. Seems that the Flood Map is now being 'updated' so can't imagine the swath of land & resources which are going to be reallocated based on what 'they' are calling a 1000 year flood. I've known about the Amish building tiny homes for Hurricane Helene victims in N.C. I've been flying in supplies to remote homesteaders since the 2nd day after the storm. FEMA has made things difficult for some but i only know of a few first hand accounts. I live in FL and can tell you that FEMA has made things difficult for Fort Myers Beach folks in their recovery from Hurricane Ian and post Milton forcing food trucks to leave, denial of 25%discount on flood insurance and code violations. When the government is involved plan on things becoming SNAFU.

They're not allowing people to live in the sheds that are being delivered. From what I've seen, there is at least one county that has stopped people from living in sheds. They are allowing campers and rvs "because they go by a different building code." All of the groups I'm a part of have not said anything about tiny homes being an issue. I think one of the things people don't realize is the land has drastically changed for many homeowners. And the concern is ground stability for the land. This area needs so much more help. Please keep sharing stories so we aren't forgotten.

I work for a Public Works Department in my state- as an employee, I have been told to direct ANYONE I speak to(with complaint or question) to call the public works office and make their complaint. This is their JOB- to deal with ANY AND EVERY question, complaint, frustration, injustice, etc.- these state, county and local governments have a job! ANSWER THE ISSUES! Do NOT pass the buck! These concerns from “random citizens “ are legitimate!

Instead of removing them, let them sleep in them until something better can replace them!! For goodness sake....are they allergic to logic?
