Story 5 is a hard one. OP was definitely very distraught after losing her other friend. They should have definitely been more understanding. On the flip side unless you have been there when a friend attacks you in their grief it can be hard to take. Its hard as unless you have loss someone and felt grief like that you won’t understand. My friend chewed the head off of lots of our friends when she lost her dad. They all tried hard to understand but frankly there is only so much abuse you can take. Granted they tried for 8 years and it seems like they only tried for a few months. When I went through my grief I was the same for a while but I didn’t act on it as much, as I didn’t want to take it out on those I love. I think OP’s role in the breakdown was overlooked. The fact that she states the anger and how she blew up makes me think she did the same as my friend and frankly I wanted to do. Grief anger can make you an (understandably) Uber jerk.

Plus, what would you do when your girlfriend comes crying to you? There isn’t many choices other than “I promise to be better” basically. My point is that the girlfriend is way too clingy and should let the boyfriend enjoy his games

Story 6 this contractor quite literally lied face as matter fact I would sue him for all damages and money you gave him because this guy destroyed you property instead doing his actual jobs and this 100% a case in favor seeing as he did more damage to property than what he suppose to fix.

Story 2: The OP is showing toxicity and signs of being clingy, from the sounds of this the boyfriend didnt get much freetime from the OP, it makes sense for him wanting a break from her. Edit: Online really isn't a place to forge a relationship on, this is all just online and not significant parts of their life, the OP probably lives FAR away from this boyfriend meaning they should probably just become best friends, I feel the OP needs to get a reality check and realize their online boyfriend is probably desiring alone time from them.

Story 5: Friends grow apart and it's not even anybody's fault it's just normal life. We as a people are very different as individuals and we even change as we grow older, so we simply are unable to be friends with everybody. I don't see that as a bad thing, it's a good thing, we aren't clones or sheep's, we are individuals and more than merrier. Sometimes you might end up being a friend with people who you never meant to be a friends to begin with, you simply were too different. It's always sad to lose friends but take it as learning experience and realize that you need different kind of friends.

Story 6 if you're in the US file a complaint against the contractor with your states registration of contractors for unprofessional conduct and possible negligence. That will start a paper trail and start an investigation into their contractors license and previous jobs. Then file a lawsuit against the contractor to recoup the money that was already paid for incomplete service. Likelihood is you will be awarded 60 to 70 percent of the $10,000 he charged. And if he refuses to pay file a writ of execution and the court will start seizing his business assets to pay you the amount owed as well as a penalty fee for failure to pay. You will be saving lots of other people from being scammed by that contractor in the future.

sounds like the kid in the 2nd story might have a gaming addiction. When op said the guy used to play mmo's and then suddenly stopped to switch to a different genre, it sounded like he basically went cold turkey to try and quit what was becoming a bad habit, and then op dropped him right back into that world, and of course he got stuck there. Op needs to realize that she's at least partially at fault and come up with some sort of plan to try and get this guy back to reality. If she doesn't, he may not be able to quit again.

Story 1: This customer is clearly just trying to scam free stuff... im doubting whether he had a car wash there before in the first place. If i were the OPs manager, i would just ban this guy, he's totally not worth having as a customer. Story 2: Its fine to play games and whatnot, but thats a bit excessive. Need to have a good talk or two with him if you want to continue a relationship with him. Story 3: Life sure sucks, doesn't it. The OP should be allowed to have their own birthday, but with the whole crap involving the parents break-up and divorce, which the OP seemed to encourage, i can see why a larger birthday celebration would want to be held for everyone by the parents and others. The OP should support their siblings birthdays, but should also be able to have their own birthday. Story 4: i'm lucky to have a pretty decent dentist, but i can see why you'd get a different dentist. The moment your tooth cracked, you should've got help right away, cracked teeth and abcessses hurt like hell and can do a lot of damage. Hopefully the OP is doing better. Story 5: These "friends" didn't seem like friends at all.... none of them. I say good riddance to them. Story 6: The OP should look at legal action against this "contractor". He's nothing short of a criminal. I'm surprised the OP didnt get the cops to arrest the guy when they were called... not just on the scamming, but also the threats.

It's not that big of a deal to share your birthday with your sibling. My brother and I are two weeks apart and used to share, on and off, some years together, some apart. As kids and as adults. As long as your mom can make both feel special, it's nice. You don't have to go through the trouble twice and i find there's more friends and family because it's one event instead of having two so close together.
