I feel bad for the OP for his wife cheating on his, but I’m happy he has such a good friend. For his friend to just show up after a weird phone call and put the dog on a leash after finding out what happened, is truly a friend everybody should have and that everybody should be to their friends. I’m also happy that he exposed his wife’s boss to his wife as well. Both of those cheaters felt no shame and it’s only fair that his life is ruined as well

My heart goes out to the man who was cheated on. He tooka higher road than a lot of others would have. He saved the other man's wife many more years of pain by letting her know. To be angry about being cheated on and used is to be human, but never feel bad about letting her know treating you like a doormat is not ok. It blows me away that so many cheaters say “It didn’t mean anything!” Like they think that makes it better. I think that makes it worse like- “Yes I broke your heart, yes I betrayed your trust, and yes I turned my back on our relationship and our vows to each other but it was all for a few minutes of pleasure with someone I barely care about at all!” Either way it’s a betrayal that would kill our relationship and I wouldn’t be able to get past it for a long while but hearing all the motivation they needed to do that was something they would later say, “didn’t even mean anything” would make it that much more painful!

Sometimes you have to fight dirty to get the point across. In situations where the offending party has someone protecting them, moral compass goes out the window and the offenders have to be destroyed all at once. I heard a story where the OP (also female and equally clever) pulled the tears card on a vile bully when reporting him to the principal. She got info that she used to get him expelled and facing criminal charges.

One thing I hate about bullying is that teachers have a bunch of signs that say "stop bullying" or "if bullied tell a teacher" they constantly remind u to tell a teacher. But the second u go to the teacher about a bully the teacher does NOTHING and calls u the tattletail even if you have evidence to back up on what they did. But the second the bully goes to the teacher and just says you called them a name they didn't like and have no evidence whatsoever they just take it like it was the words of a president and punish u for something u never did.

For that story with the teacher and bully student crying isn't femininity it's called being a human and anyone that says crying in those situations is only for one gender is sexist. Anyone can get upset and break down from such harassment so the teacher using ta excuse was not only homophobic but also sexist. Would have called OP a crybaby or other things if they were a guy doing the same thing.

In the 2nd story, the Duncan brat seemed to be testing the waters with the bullying at first, but when it became clear the teacher was on his side he kept escalating to see how far he could take it. When OP fights back in a non-violent way that is effective, suddenly now the asshat teacher is concerned about reputation? Typical, really. Teacher clearly agreed with the boy but didn't want to openly state it. It could all have been avoided if right at the outset the teacher reprimanded the boy. It probably wouldn't have stopped it outright, but it likely would have moderated the behaviour so it was less blatant and often. Unpleasant to deal with, but something that could probably be ignored.

Last Story: man, even as I am a Muslim and LGBT is strictly forbidden and punished in Islam, I still feel that no one should outright make these people uncomfortable or bully them, if you truly believe that LGBT is wrong, and you really want to help someone “reform (based off of your own beliefs not objectively)” talk kindly and don’t be overbearing. If they refuse, that’s their choice and leave them to their beliefs and their way of life.

The school story: no way. If the teacher and the bully refuse to listen then in my opinion its best to find a way to escelate it to the principal rather then just take the harrasment. Personally the ultimatum was good but i would have asked for a written guarentee that if smith didnt improve from the seminar that he would be fired. Teachers who degrade their students by whitewashing bullies or doing the bullying thmselves dont deserve a spot in the profession. And duncan... i can understand the whole religious beleif thing and a kid not knowing better making it feel a little harsh but he needed to learn that part of christianity is treating other people as equals even if they dont follow his beleif.

It's truly wonderful to have friends like that. I've been their for mine in such ways when life has taken a shit and they've been their for me when mine turned for the worst. As far as OP goes, the relationship is done, get a divorce, share it with all the family so that she can't even have a chance to weaponize them against you, and then live your best life. Worthless 304's like this don't deserve your time of day and make sure to tell her once you sign those papers that 45-80 is a long time to be alone.

Story #1: I wonder if the OP could've got convicted for false imprisonment and terroristic threats if the dirtbag AP decided to press charges or if the case would've got thrown out due to the circumstances. Good thing that dirtbag didn't press his luck though because those type of betrayals can easily turn into double homicides when they're caught in the act and emotions are running that high. Cheating alone is horrible but having the audacity to do it in the shared home, let alone marital bed, is a whole other level of disrespect. Either way, banging someone else's SPOUSE is a deathwish.

I found the story and there are multiple updates on this story as the OP and the wife are reconciling, but the boss actually slept with 3 other married women in the workplace and got one of them pregnant which lead to that woman’s divorce. The boss got fired from different workplaces because of that but not the one where the OP’s wife worked at and the boss actually told lies about OP and how OP cheated on his wife and left, so after hearing about that the OP and the boss’s wife confronted the boss and the OP actually scared the boss so much that the boss actually pissed himself and OP threw him on the floor and the wife gave her now ex husband the boss a clean kick in the crotch. The boss ended up getting arrested after the women he slept with came forward and he is spending some time in jail with pending lawsuits against him for child support and sexual harassment. So yeah as for that the boss’s wife and OP had evidence and worked together to take the boss down with the help of a private investigator and the OP and his wife still working things out as OP still never gave up on trying to save the marriage

There is nothing that I abhor more than cheating honestly, because it is the largest betrayal that you can do to another human being besides outright murder, I think. It's a betrayal on EVERY level. It's a betrayal of intimacy, a betrayal of trust, a betrayal of EVERY aspect of a life you think you've built together. You CAN get over it I would say, but he will so appreciate the next person because he will be able to see right through deceit from now on. Deceiving somebody on that level creates an energy and once you've experienced it, you never forget it. It's a frequency . 😉 It's going to take a second, but he'll find the right person. I have no doubt and he'll be better for it. She and her karma are totally screwed, but you know he'll be good. 😇
