This is an upgrade set for the kit you can find the in the link above.
Probably one of the best kits in 48th scale market, MiG-31 from AMK impress with accuracy, engineering and details.
The kit is very popular among modelers and highly praised.
The upgrade set features metal struts, upgrade decals, darker clear parts and photo-etch parts.
Photo Etch sheet is relatively small and feature mostly ejection seats upgrades plus Zaslon pulse-dopler radar.
Metal struts are usable for both kits: AMK88003 and AMK88008. They are nice add-on, since MiG-31 is relatively big model in that scale and support is important.
The upgrade set is highly recommended for those who seek maximum accuracy and reality. It changes the appearance with cockpit details - especially the pink sealants. Also, the darker clear parts look very realistic and alongside with the clear set in the box, you can replicate the perfect Foxhound in 48th scale.

+HG Barnes the other version features some of it OOB. But the first one needs this set badly.

Just got the model kit a week ago. Very happy with what I have in the box! If this one lives up to it, which I think it will, I will look at the Mirage IIIc as well. Great review video by the way

Absolutely! If you have the second MiG-31B/BS #83008 not so much, but still it worth the money. For BM/BSM is mandatory if you ask me.

Actually the engineering is great and the execution too. The company itself struggles to keep the pace of the serious players on the market.
