If they sell out of an item at a high price, what incentive is there to lower the price? None. We all have to STOP paying too much for reload, or ammo. Otherwise we can't complain about prices. Its our fault, not the sellers.

@@rbm6184 Which is exactly what I do. The price I paid for these primers are the lowest I can get them for locally and I'm gonna buy as many as I can every single day until they sell out. Same with the ammo. What this guy and people like him really mean is stop shooting and just sit around pissing and moaning about people who refuse to, and are actively looking for the cheapest price they can find and paying what they have to to continue enjoying their hobby. What really needs to happen is people need to worry about their own wallets instead of somebody elses.

Really happy to find your video. I subscribed. So my situation sucks because I'm 57 years old and grew up around shooting and reloading but never really took much interest in it because I've been spending all these years racing both asphalt and dirt track stock cars. Definitely something you understand down in your great State! But now I'm older and not racing anymore so about 4 years ago I dive into the shooting and reloading hobby. My Father is now 84 but probably feels better than me most days and he's more than happy to work with me learning all this stuff. I never spent more time with him than I have in the past few years learning what he knew all of his life. He never bought factory ammo and this guy is a reloading encyclopedia. Now I can't find supplies even though I'm willing to pay the current prices. I hope this shortage of everything gun related ends soon! Take care buddy keep the videos coming glad I found ya

Appreciate that my friend! I got into the reloading game late myself. I had always wanted to start doing it but until all this mess happened, it really wasn't worth it to me. Once all this ammo mess started, it became worth it but then the components got so high priced and hard to find that it became almost not worth it again. Luckily I have enough brass from years of shooting that it's at least one thing I'll never have to buy. It's definitely been a struggle finding the primers and powder. Like your channel. Keep it up. Same issues here in Europe with ammo prices. All has gone up bringing more people to reloading. Now stores are pushing up prices on reloading materials. Most expensive remains still items coming from USA, such as Sig Sauer Ammo and S&W guns.

Wolf, fiocci, Seller and Bellot, magtech are 4 you do not see often enough. And Fiocci have a usa plant now. Remington have the most compact boxes, Federal have the most Ridiculous sized primer boxes, they need to follow Remingtons Size, since they are more or less the same company under VISTA.

The "price gougers" are beginning to really show themselves. You can can find brass cased 9mm for about .60 a round (tax & shipping). But yet, Bud's Gun & Ammo Depot are still hawking their brass cased 9mm at almost a dollar a round shipped.

Ammo still sucks here in SW Va. What little you can find is still outrageously priced. 9mm is now 40$ for a box of 50. Found 380s at a gun store but the price was 41$ for a box of 50s with a limit of one box. Rural King starting to get ammo but still very high.

That’s not a bad price for the primers given the current environment. That’s the best I’ve seen over the last 3 yrs. Remember folks were buying them off gunbroker for $200 a brick. Perspective on 9 mm - I got some dirty once fired brass from us reloading supply for $43 for 10 lbs ( 1125-1150 cases) free shipping no tax = 4 cents a case + 8 cents a primer + 3 cents for powder + 7-9 cents a bullet. = 22-24 cents a round or $11-12 for 50. Better than retail by enough to make it worthwhile.

Acquired last year by Vista Outdoor, the same company that owns CCI and Federal, Remington Ammunition is back in production . Winchester is going along with the great ride.They both have stockpiled warehouse of primers so there is no competition with the smaller ammo companies. They have government contracts and have exclusive rights on ammo components. They know about the last shortage and have figured out how to gouge you again ,I am going to wait till primers get down to $5 dollars a box.

Just paid $200/1,000 (small rifle) at Shaw Armament Systems. Painful as it was but I dragged my feet in the past when I had the opportunity. Only wanted a few hundred for my purposes. Not into mag dumps for fun even though I've got a binary trigger on the AR. I'll laid down lead when I NEED to.

You're fortunate to have such a gun shop close by. I live in a mid sized city and big box has taken over everything and I have to drive 30 min to get to any gun store. Growing up there were like 10 stores + Kmart you could go to. Those days are long gone. Walmart took over everything then stopped selling pretty much everything. Killed most of the market.

The Rual King I go to which is about 50 miles away hardly ever has any good amo. I got lucky a while back and caught a couple of 100 round boxes of Winchester white box 9mm. I’m hopeful they will start getting more soon.

Heads up everyone. I keep reading that everyone still can’t find primers. Here in Minnesota we have primers galore. I think that’s because Federal is located here. Powders also are a plenty here. Might not be your exact powder choice, but you will find one that works.

Shotshell primers. It depends on the brand as to what part number they use on it but they're specifically for shotshells.

I've been trying for 4 months to find a couple packs of large rifle primers to load some hunting ammo but can't find em anywhere and aint paying $20 a hundred. Need to get a couple packs of large rifle and a couple packs of small pistol. Just starting reloading about a month ago but only 9mm because I can't get any primers. I've had the equipment for about a year but no primers.

I was just at our local Farm & Home (a lot like Rural King) they had Winchester 223 for $24.99 for 20 round box, my cost at work for 200 round range box is 100, ** not great but compared its a deal. the shelves are getting more stocked and 3 box limits, and prices are still unreasonable.

My nearest shop has Blazer 9mm for $24 (or in cases for $440), and I scored some PMC Bronze .357 hunting rounds for $38. Other nearest shop had 9mm Federal for $19.99... things are slowly getting a bit better here in MN. Still no primers to be found, but the first shop at least has bullets and powder, and I have a small stock (about 1600 pistol primers, 500 small rifle, and 200 large rifle) of primers so I'm thinking I'll make it through, lol.

Yeah man, this week hasn't been too great for RK. They actually have a bunch of Norma 9mm in the stock room that will be priced for $20.99 once it's in the system where they can sell it. They've had issues with several items since they swapped over to a new computer system.😆

I had to go to the eye doctor yesterday and I thought I’d go by the local gun shop and the shelves were full of everything and the prices were really cheap! And they went from a 2 box limit to a 4 box limit! It was the most ammunition I’ve seen in a long time! They had every caliber 9mm-45acp-380-357-40s&w-10mm- ! And nothing was over $30 a 50 round box!👍😎

Great video brother! I don't have rural king in phoenix AZ we have sportsman's warehouse, cabala, bass pro and big 5 sporting goods Dicks which I don't shop at. Big 5 has been huge for me during the ammo crunch. I bought what ammo I could from Walmart and almost all the rest came from big 5. I bought most of my firearms from sportsman's warehouse. I've been fighting for that right because they won't let us fish the harbors. They restrict us to the Piers, which haven't had good fishing in years.
