Hi Liam there is a Giant chunk of fossilised tree or something at Saltwick Bay laying in between some of the big sandstone boulders , just wondered if you found it ? I would have collected it but I am kind of homeless at the moment and got enough stuff to cart around without part of a fossilised tree I got some video footage of it but left it there .

love the finds mate! is here any way that you know of identifying and differentiating between ichthyosaur and plesiosaurs???

Yes the verts look totally different. Plesi verts are more robust. Ichthyosaur remains are found much more here than plesiosaur but having said that Marine reptile in general is not found that often. 👍

I went out fishing at Whitby and the jellyfish out to sea are red so I don’t think that means there dying...
