VisionaryUrbanTactics I’ve only seen Rupaul mention him twice. But yeah, I had just gone down a rabbit hole and watched all these videos and overall it just seems like a lot of Nelson’s ‘friends’ took him for granted and used him for the camera publicity. Not just Ru but most of the club kids as well

I know this has been said in other videos of Nelson’s but why on earth has someone not made a documentary about him? Surely someone must want to do this? Hell I want to do it. It’s fascinating and would be a hell of a lot better than half the garbage on Netflix.

these videos are making me tear up so much, it really is a time capsule. the fact that this one was filmed less than a week before nelson died is pretty chilling

Nelson’s videos make me wish I had a time machine.. it was a whole different world. Everyone was living in the moment and not on some smartphone. Everyone was authentic. Makes today seem so dark

I don't know if this makes sense, but there was such a natural positive energy back then. It's not defensive & chaotic like it is today. People were unapologetically themselves & just lived! Now, it's "THIS IS ME, LOOK AT ME, YOU WILL ACCEPT ME!!! ME ME ME!" we need that old, positive, loving REAL & TRUE united energy.
