It's technically the right thing to do, when you are in a dark environment, having the bright light shine on your face is bad for your eyes, sunglasses lessen the damage, and you can actually still see pretty well because the computer screen is the only source of light, and it's a type of light that your eyes notice the most

I think it may have to do with contrast to help him in dark areas, maybe that is reason for glasses as well, they may be high contrast glasses.

By the hell of it I cannot do the bookcase clip in the guest room even though other stuff works and Akam_AK said in this video that it is one of the easiest clips in the game -.- (Also, I am playing in windowed mode... I have to say... I was really annoyed about having the 420 lights out hype for this run. Because really part of the reason I watch these is to actually see the runner. Not a pitch black box where the only time you can see anything is when the screen fades to white. I really hope if they do amnesia again next AGDQ they don't do that. That's just me though. x.x
