This amazing vision brings tears to my eyes. In the early seventies I experienced the tragedies in central america. Such dreadful inhumaness against other beautiful beings. So Many loving and courageous amnesty international supporters put their lives in danger incessantly every day in central america. This is true Love in Action. My heart is warmed by the actions of these amazing ans courageous ans compassionate supporters ans Lovers of the human race. My heart and prayers go out to each and every one of you with this most blessed mission on earth

You make a really good point, a lot of different aspects, causes off oppression and inequality are unexamined, ignored, or not recognized as they are enacted and implemented on a day to day basis, and are supported and maintained by economic injustice. I look forward to the day when the valleys are exalted and the hills and valleys made low.

1961 - USA joins Amnesty International 2010 - USA is still keeping prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, often without charge, where many have been tortured. Where are the Blessings of Liberty today?

I understand what you are saying but still my entire education from childhood has been there to teach me to be a tool as opposed to actualy educate. I work at a local grocery store and I live with the knowledge that the food we sell doesnt always get produced in a manner in line with human rights. I feel that every day I try to live a normal American life I am indirectly affecting someone negatively. I too am doing my best to help but it's hard when you cant escape the system that hurts others.

Im all for human rights an amnesty international, but when people escape from prison and there faces cannot be shown to the public for the publics own safety because it breaches there human rights or a hate preacher cannot be deported back to there home country for inciting others to do terrorist attacks on civilians because it breaches there human rights, thats when i draw the line.

@ antiglbtMAN, how can you have so much hate for other humans and call yourself a human that stands up for human rights, I feel sorry for you, I also forgive you but, I can not help you with your Karma, that is something you will have to deal with when it is your time, Buddha bless.

Sorry to Amnesty International fall so far, and now deciding that the blame for civilian harm in Ukraine lays squarely with….Ukraine (because they didn’t do “more” while in a fight for their existence against overwhelming odds) or on Ukrainian soldiers, who are given instructions on the best locations to die (away from civilians). Not surprisingly, Amnesty International’s decision and article (which never even involved or talked to its Ukraine chapter) has been fully, gleefully and vilely embraced by pro-Russian, pro-war supporters (see videos on their Ukraine report and view the comments yourself). Just that fact alone would concern a true human rights organization, but not AI, whose only response was “sorry if we offended anyone, but not sorry…we stand by this 100%). Would never support AI again (and a past donor), which I am sure they won’t mind….the money from Z and pro-war Russian supporters should be rolling in, as AI’s report has been the best news they have had in months.
