I enjoyed seeing what's new & what's the same in SF. Love that early Social Distortion & the documentary " Another State Of Mind ".

Great video Mazzy. Thanks for the tip on The Third Mind LP. Been streaming this since I saw your video and whilst I await my vinyl copy. Apart from some Muriel Grossman Jazz LPs that record is some of the best new music I’ve heard in the last year or so. Thanks again for the tip. John 🏴

Enjoyed the video guys! I used to play Townes Van zandt on my radio show back in the 90s.( In Texas) Not too many people knew who he was, every time I mentioned his name to somebody here in Tennessee when I moved people thought is he one of the Van zant brothers from Skynyrd... lol l

I live thousands of miles away from San Francisco, but I still have great memories of the city which I visited many dacades ago. I guess there was no Amoeba back then.

This is a great look at places I'll probably never get a chance to see. I've heard / read about some of these SF places, beautiful city. Tell Ron that I can hook him up with a bunch of Dan Fogelberg, all for under $2! Thanks for sharing, Elliott

Hi Mazzy. I am still amazed every time you take us along on your shopping trips to Amoeba Records... the size and selection in that joint is awesome. I appreciate you letting me shop vicariously through you. (I'm eating my heart out!) Great grabs, by the way. Thanks again for this wonderful video. Cheers.

It would be really interesting to visit someday in that music store. BUT I am pretty sure that won't happen. It was cool to hang around. Thanks! mr. Finglish (Bäd English Recs)

great Video Mazzy I heard Amoeba Frowns on people doing videos inside the store but you pulled it off nicely. Well done! Thumbs up. Trish

Your videos are spectacular. Do you imagine the wonder that they can provoke in a Brazilian boy, lover of music, and in need of big stores like Amoeba? 😃😃 Greetings from Brasil!

I loved seeing all the posters and records at Amoeba. The sights of San Francisco were great too. I found a Freddie Hubbard Blue Note 80's reissue from a series that I think you have recommended in the past. I love it. It sounds great and the packaging is wonderful. Thank you.

Already got my pre order of The Third Mind, as I follow Dave Alvin. But when I saw they do Journey Into Satchidananda, it was a must. Hope you enjoy. SF trip was great, always love the cable cars.

Townes Van Zandt has been hip for several years now. I do remember the days when he was well kept secret amongst only Alt-Country fans - well, in my generation. Then all his songs started showing up in movies and TV shows on HBO and stuff like that. Curtis’ Roots is a personal all-time fave. Amazing album. Very cool Atlantic Jazz Series. That’s a really good Jawbreaker LP. Would there be a rift in the space time continuum if Creative Ron and Cosmic Brian crossed paths?

Really dig the San Fran footage man. My friend Drew moved there so going to visit at some point. The pilgrimage to Amoeba being of course a priority. Cool pickup for Amanda.

Great San Fran trip video. The first time my wife and I went to San Fran...we weren't married at that time but it was in 2000 I believe and we stayed at Sir Francis Drake Hotel...loved it. Been to that Amoeba and scored some great Elvis Costello records while there. Back to your archiving video you did....how are you going to organize the Atlantic Jazz records you just picked up? All under A as Atlantic Jazz in order of release?

Sorry about all the separate comments but because I’m at work I was forced to watch this video in increments Anyway I was cringing when you were telling your friend not to buy a turntable or vinyl records basically because he’s too old?!?! And he was under the impression that as vinyl collectors we are elitists and cliquey Man I Hope he doesn’t really think that and I would never discourage anyone from starting to go to a vinyl format and deprive themselves of a very rewarding listening experience Oh and by the way that guy has way more hair than me LoL and I’m honored that he and I are somewhat alike Haha Peace ☮️ Brian
