Absolutely beautiful song Generation Why! You are in a rare, less than 1%, category of musicians who have talent, and can actually sing and perform with just your voice and a guitar, without the need for back up vocals, hidden by layers of instruments, auto-tune, etc.. Okok I love this song too and I'm about to be that guy... This is from 2017 and has songs from Front Row Seat To Earth, which came after Cardamom Times. So this is not an early rendition it is a late rendition. I think its interesting that she cuts out the first verse. Also isn't the regular Cardamom times version also still acoustic? Is there like an awesome electric guitar solo in there that I have not heard? Anyway.

No I think simple acoustic would have described it just fine considering my non-expert ears definitely hear a bass and organ as well as multi layered acoustic guitars and vocal harmonies on the studio cut.
