Townes' "Nashville Sessions" album is culled from an acetate of a never released album called "7 Come 11." It was obviously recorded in Nashville at Cowboy Jack Clement's studio in 1973, but after Townes' manager Kevin Eggers failed to pay for the sessions, Jack erased the tapes. Luckily John Lomax III had managed to squirrel away an acetate and saved this essential TVZ recording.

Right!...I buy cds. (5 for a dollar) and I found so many weird and complexity bands and artists, I heard so many genres and styles that amazed me every week. I have to start just watching the cover, artwork and reading the track list and guessing where might came from, some of them are crafted bands and artists that might not get the respect and fame they deserved but it makes me open my mind and go everywhere else in time/space just with one chord/lyric. Well, Madonna, should listen what Chris say about getting older. Make a great day!

The word "underrated" is plastered all over you tube, and really in an innacurrate way, as folks are professing their love for musicians when using it, even though the artists themselves are often quite popular and successful. People using the word are simply attempting to express just how much they like a certain musician ......all that said, Judy Sill REALLY is grossly underrated! Gorgeous voice and wise lyrics-shes the real deal!

@amoeba6 жыл бұрын
Hi Angela! If you are looking to trade in those obscure albums you mentioned, you can just bring them in to the trade counter of the store nearest you. You don't need to make an appointment. If you have a large collection of 500+ CDs or LPs, we could potentially come to you. More info about selling/trading stuff to us can be found here: www.amoeba.com/our-stores/buy-sell-trade/ As far as needle replacements, it varies by store but generally we only carry them for the model of turntables we have.
