This band rules so much. Queen Of My School, WOW. That bass work on that song is genius, the drumming is blisteringly good, so much character and fun in this music. I hope these guys go the distance and give us many more great albums in years to come. Lemon Twigs rule!

Fun Fact: The Twigs actually don’t really care much for Queen, as bohemian rhapsody used to play over their school’s PA system for a year during high school. Funnily enough, the “to me” ending of Haroomataa ended up with several queen comparisons lmao

What a band! They sound so good, so complex and so mature that it´s difficult to believe that they are only teenagers. Great vocals and great performance with the instruments, specially Michael, who plays the drums as if his life depended on them.... althought in reality they are the others who are in danger of being kicked when he plays the guitar. Y además tienen la sonrisa del jugón los muy jodíos. A ver cómo evolucionan estos chicos y si son capaces o no de introducir elementos más actuales con el paso de los años y si saben gestionar la que les va a caer encima porque, a pesar del éxito seguro que les auguro, son casi unos niños y habrá que ver cómo se manejan y si saben ser firmes para manterer su estilo libre de las grandes discográficas y los gustos mainstream. Pero el punto de partida es bueno a más no poder.

Totalmente de acuerdo con lo que comentas. Y el punto de partida, como dices... ufff, han sabido coger buenas influencias de aquí y allá: Beatles, Queen, Who, tantas otras bandas de buen rock setentero, mezcladito en una coctelera con power pop y unos toquecitos de rock progresivo, y lo han sabido aunar en un estilo propio. La verdad que semejante talento y las tablas que ya tienen los mamones con esa edad ensancha la sonrisa hasta quebrar los tendones en estos nefastos (por la industria) tiempos musicales.
