Geez, what's with the elitism in the comments? There was a time when someone told you about Jeff Buckley for the first time (I remember for me it was an ex-girlfriend of mine in my early 20's, good times!). Similarily I remember that indeed it was guests on "What's In My Bag" who introduced me to some seminal albums (a.k.a. what some would consider "boring" or "obvious" choices). And thinking back to all this, I can't help but imagine there's a good chance that somewhere out there there's a 16 year old kid, listening to Royal Blood, thinking they're the most hardcore rock band they've listened to. And because they stumble over this video they're now discovering Jeff Buckley for the first time. And they'll just go further from here on out. Music is for sharing, not for you to feel superior to the ones with lesser refined taste than yourself.

I don't think it's "hipster" to say what he chose to show is boring because it is, honestly. Sure, it's his taste. I like all the stuff he's showing myself. @@NadaCero First thing, he didn't just buy this stuff at their store. This is stuff from his own collection and I'd bet he could've dug deeper and shown other stuff. Second, there's a hell of a lot of music less known than Queen, Led Zeppelin, and Bryan Adams, two of those artists being some of the most popular bands of all time, and music that's in total indie obscurity. It's whatever in the end. But my point is big part of this video series to show off your music tastes that other people might be interested in checking out yet they haven't heard of.

May not be a rich posh boy. British middle class maybe. I grew up in his hometown Worthing, West Sussex. He has a regular local accent and went to a local college when he left school at 16. Not sure which school he went to but not a truly posh boy for sure. I speak with exactly the same accent and I am definitely not 'posh'.
