Love watching your stuff josh. Paddling into those unbroken waves are exactly why I got into foiling (no crowds)

Cheers for chucking that video our way, mate! As a bit of a newbie just dipping me toes into the world of SUP foil boards, reckon you'd suggest starting off with a low-aspect front wing? I've got this idea that it might help me pop the board out of the water a tad easier, but I also get that it could be a bit of a dampener on the glide time. Now, I'm only about 65 kilos and have ordered myself a 90-liter board, 20 inches wide (from a local brand, here in Brazil). Also got me hands on some Armstrong foil gear (HS1850, CF1600, HS1250, and MA1000). Much appreciated! I'm keen on using these types of boards for light wind wingfoiling, SUP downwind, and even a bit of small wave prone surfing and SUP surfing.

Great video! What foil did you have on? I can't remember if it was mentioned in the video. Also, rider weight? Do you think the bullet would go good in small unbreaking waves near beach or the sultan better?

so crazy to see how the 140 is gliding. Killer.

Great stuff! A question about your experience with the board and the design: Do you think a slightly wider tail would help you pop up on foil? In the pump-up process the tail touches the water at a positive angle, I just wonder if it would have been wider and with good release, it would provide a larger surface to help you plane and eventually lift off... A bit more surface drag of course, but maybe better performance overall?

Why'd you switch to the 140 progression instead of keeping the hyper 2 on when you went to the ocean? The reason the unglassed boards look so coarse is EPS foam is very large beads. So sometimes they tear and a bead pops out when being shaped. You need to throw a "like and subscribe" paint job on your next board.

There is Noway I was using the 250 out in the ocean , while reason for such an amazing board is to downsize wings out at sea

smaller wing is faster to keep up with swell. big wing offers too much lift in occasional whopper swell.

Looking good!! How long is your paddle? That’s one thing I’m still trying to get dialed. 🤙

With the sultan you want the paddle an inch above your head

Slick video Josh! Where are you at in terms of sizing, now that you've spent some time on this board?
