AMP RACK WIRED UP & FIRED UP! Tahoe System Rebuild (Vid 15)

Wired up one of the 3 amp racks that will be in this truck. This contains 6 Rockford Fosgate T2500.1 BD amps but only 4 were wired up. I will wire the other 2 tomorrow. This is just an update. There will be a TOTAL of 8 T2500's that all do around 3300 watts a piece and 3 more mids/high amps. 11 Rockford Amps in all (when finished)

@Max1636 nope.....i have zero engine noise. Got lucky this time LOL - Engine noise is the Devil!!! hahah Running all your positives and all your neg's to ONE SPOT is the key to a noise free system though. It looks like a lot of stuff but its a lot of stuff in the same spot.

@TDMaudio with sub amps it doesnt matter cuz the alternator frequencies are so high you cant hear them through the subs. also, i think the rf 360's he hooks up to them have a feature to cancel whine.

I got a question I have 4 p2 12s hook to 2 old skool punch 800 amps. I just hooked up 4 batteries 2 n the trunk n 2 up front but im running 1 0 gauge to the trunk my fuse haven't pop but it melted the fuse holder yesterday my question is should I run another 0 gauge to the trunk

check that you have wired it correctly, also take the fuse out and re-wire it then put the fuse in and see if that makes a difference, or are you sure you have the correct fuse for the cable?

You should seal the wire hole when your done so theres no issie with air circulation, clear caulk or something would be perfect

Right if its getting a circulation of air it will work. (Moving Air Is Cooling Air) to the amps

the power from the head unit is just to turn the amp on. there isnt actually any power being drawn from it once your amp is on. your head unit is dimming because your amp is drawing more amps from your battery than your alternator can put back. so to fix this problem... high output alt, or a second or bigger battery.
