I hope we can have another year with both guys. If not I'm sure Quinn will have a plan that is best for the team. He has mentioned how he lacked a plan in ATL when he lost Kyle his OC.

That's why they have all those coaches behind Kliff. Tavita, Blough etc. and Brian Johnson would probably be the replacement.

Whitt has done a fantastic job, and he's one of the most attractive HC candidates out there. Look how far our defense has come, and with average talent. His play calling is great, but the Jets? Who's owner fired a good defensive coach earlier in the year because Rodgers didn't like him. I'd take the job if they gave me four years of guaranteed money.

When you dive into the numbers, there actually isn’t a whole of improvement defensively. Our defense looks better because our offense has dominated TOP. Not to mention the personnel upgrades that he inherited- Fowler, chinn, Wagner, luvu, newton… I like Whitt and believe he’s a leader of men, but not sure if I buy into him being an excellent DC.

@x27off TB cut through our defense like hot butter in the first game and we held them to their second lowest point output last week. That looks a lot like improvement to me.

@ funny enough, the Bucs had a higher yards per play this game than week 1 (negligible difference but 6.5 v 6.4). The difference between the two games is we had the ball 10 mins longer during this game vs week 1. Baker was the highest rated qb last week… a lot gets missed when you only look at the top line.

@x27off 20 points is the only statistic that counts. TB scored 37 in the first game. We had the ball longer because they didn't. We scored more because they didn't. They wanted to score more but they didn't because our defense was better in the red zone. 20 points.

@ buddy don’t go talking to other fans like this because you’ll make our fanbase look bad… we forced 2 punts this game, 1 punt in week 1. We were also given two gifts in the baker fumble and the botched snap (neither caused by our defense). The difference is our offense didn’t give them the ball this game… the difference is that our offense is light years better than it was week 1. We punted 3 times in week 1, 0 times this past game. This past game when the Bucs had the ball, statistically, they were better than they were week 1…
