Amplifier Chassis Cradle Build from Scratch - Woodworking/Jivetalkin
If you work on amps you need a cradle. This is how I build them! I built my first one several years back and use it nearly every day. Here's how it's done from start to finish.
To do this project you'll need:
1" pine
1/2" plywood
Thumbscrews
T-nuts
Adhesive backed cork
Wood glue
Clamps
Safety glasses
and access to a table saw, chop saw, finish nailer, and maybe optionally a drill press and bandsaw.
Enjoy!

Thanks for watching. I’ve been swamped with orders and also my main lens broke but I was able to fix it and have some ideas for early 2024 videos that should be pretty cool.

HAH! Just did a quick Google search for a chassis stand plan and this video looked like what I needed. Then! you drop Skip and Jason and TAVA's name. I am two years late to this party, but that is still rad.

Thanks! You really might just want to build 2 at one time that way if you've got one tied up in something that's dragging on you've still got an open spot for quicker stuff. Trust me, you'll use them both!

Thanks for this, Chris. I see tomorrow’s project for the CNC router. Also, thanks for the El Pato amp. I got one of the first batch and still have fun with it.

What will I do with all the random blocks I use now?? But seriously, thanks. I will definitely put one together and retire the blocks. My big question is ..did you clean your shop up for the video, or are you really that neat! Thanks for your support of jason and skip, they’ve made the pandemic bearable

Haha! I'm a little OCD and have to clean up all the way between projects. Job's not done until the tools are put away!

Nice Grizzly. I’m still kicking myself in the butt for not buying one of those a couple years ago. Now they are, like everything, ridiculously priced. Making do with a Dewalt.
