I was there that night. Took the teen-age kids so they could experience it. I see Jimmy Brown and Steve Cooley there, too. What a crazy night that ended up being! Warren played Lawyers, Guns and Money. Hunter's Colorado sheriff identified himself as an alcoholic then said, "Oops, wrong meeting".

Mike Schroeder was there, playing mandolin at 4:55) and it looked like Steve Cooley on slide.

Meaning, as opposed to Reason. The Diaspora Ends. God Bless Hunter Thompson and Warren Zevon. Inhale. Get to Work

Warren Zevon, long, sensitive fingers caressing the piano keys to honor his partner in pyrotechnics. What a beautiful, eternal image. Warren Zevon lives forever. All the rest is dross.

you are entitled to your opinion but you don't know what you are missing here or of what or whom you speak. knew Warren before he was famous (when he wrote beautiful ballads) and if he heard you call David Amram dross he'd haunt your dreams. Amram is a musical genius that all musicians worth anything revere. Hope you have the pleasure of checking out his music before you share what you don't know.

David Amram Has à plaque on his wall the recognizes him as a living national treasure, I know because I’ve seen it. The kindest and most inspiring person I’ve ever known.
