After having analyzed all the recent games of Moky and Cody, here's some of my educated thoughts on what aMSa could do different to win at large. See, you can rely on what Moky is gonna do in his recovery. This let you egg-throw Moky off stage. And egg-lay moky. This is really bad and are large weaknesses that Cody fixed in the finals. So a permanent 2 sets of advantages he has gained over aMSa's game plan. The solution to the egg-lay fix? Just do another egg-lay right after and then leave LOL. aMSa need to fight more players that actually can properly get out of the move, it's clear he haven't faced anything besides Cody yet so his egg-toss-followup isn't corrected. I am sure he will figure it out soon. The recovery part is about figuring out the angles. And that demand real practice. At large, i would say that aMSa is recovering far too simple. He need to learn to air-dodge properly. To use air-dodge give you 9 additional paths you can use to get down. This let you mix up things a whoooole lot more. Over my soon to be decade of maining yoshi, i've been edgeguarded so much i got so tired of it, i realized how i can mix it up with air-dodge and fast-fall mixups. Letting me survive 90% of the time or even more if the enemy don't know what to do or can't camp me mid-air. aMSa will be at a permanent disadvantage if he won't train on those kind of things. The other part this tournament, is actually that aMSa does so many many unsafe things in neutral. It's insane! Cody has realized that him being grounded and ready to bait out moves give him free openings with tons of moves, not just raw drills. This is because fox just outright win encounters due to multihits or how fast he can snipe in moves. In effect, Cody became a grounded version of Moky this tournament. The results speak for themselves, aMSa wasn't ready for it. He made a few greedy miss-plays in set-1 and that made the rest pretty free for Cody. Only people I've seen do it are anonymous random ultra-good europeans and maybe leffen did it a bit. Past this, it's rare i see players actually FINALLY understanding how easy it is to blatantly win neutral against Yoshi - and successfully doing it. What i will add, lastly, is that Cody is far more defensive. He has learned how the combos usually go for Yoshi. And he di's them really well. aMSa need to think a loooot more to complete them against him. But it's all in how he just has got to practice more to get it done. People fail to realize how deeply and complex you still can play Yoshi. There's not much left for fox now, assuming aMSa understands the underlaying issue and address it properly.

It’s heavy armor. It reduces knockback by 120

Yeah there's not really any other forms of active armor in normal melee though so there's not much of a distinction
