Please keep Manneke Pis fries for the tourists so we Dutchies can buy real good fries on another spot in Mokum. And doing the Light Festival on a tourboat is just too expensive. You better walk through the city and see it all.

I'm from the netherlands and I don't understand why you think he is rude. You are filming in his business and you say he is rude. Did you asked if you could film him?

It’s hard to see, but Nate had already been filming the fries and multiple other employees had moved so he could get good shots. They were very friendly. Two or three customers were also filming at the same time… BUT.. on phones. We think he didn’t like our bigger camera. He came up from the back… he hadn’t even been being filmed and made his comment. It’s not big deal, we thought it was pretty funny… and rude, of him to single us out. We always ask in businesses and would have no problem if they say “no”. Totally get it. But… on a busy night, in central Amsterdam wih tourists all filming with their phones at a very “Instagram Famous” establishment… it was an interesting move on his part: 😂 When Nate called him rude the other employees laughed as if to say: “Yep, we know too.” 🙃 We just played it up because he played it up. The video is pretty boring without him, so we are happy he was in a mood!
