The Netherlands is a country I would like to visit someday. People say that if we visit the Netherlands it's like going back to ancient times and like living in a second home. I don't know if it's true or not but it makes me want to visit this small country even more.

Hey Maksum - thanks for checking out the video! This was certainly one of our favorite countries that we've been to. The people were extremely kind and the city of Amsterdam in particular is beautiful with all the canals and historic architecture. Definitely recommend visiting if you get a chance!

@@briansteph I want to find out about the history of my country here, restaurants, descendants of people, archives, historical objects from the kingdom of my country.

Those are all interesting things that we enjoy learning about as well! What country are you from?

@@briansteph I come from Indonesia, Indonesia used to be a Dutch colony called the Dutch East Indies with the richest company in the world, namely the VOC. Most of the books, historical relics about Indonesia from the beginning to the era of the kingdom, the communist party, reformation and everything about Indonesia are stored in Dutch museums. When we want to know about the history of my country, here I listen more than seeing directly what it looks like, such as archives, relics and so on.

Oh wow, that's super interesting - I didn't know all of that about Indonesia's origins! I can see why you would want to learn more about Indonesia's origins by visiting the Netherlands. There were a number of museums in Amsterdam that I'm sure have information and relics related to that history. We didn't get to visit all of the museums, but were a decent amount. I wonder if something like the Rijksmuseum has information on the connection to Indonesia. I'm sure there are other places in the Netherlands outside of Amsterdam that have historical information about Indonesia as well.
