Nice video...thanks for sharing. If the destination is important, fly. If the journey is important, take the train and do not be concerned if you're a few hours late. That is to be expected on Amtrak since they share the rails with freight trains, which have priority.

Had to abandon my rail pass trip on Monday because I got into an accident. Was going to take the connected Sunset Limited. I did five segments. Good to some of what I missed

They are going to meet the Texas Eagle at its next stop. I don't remember which one that was, but it was somewhere in Texas.

It's to bad amtrak doesn't allow any rooms to b utilized with railpass,, I would need a room to b able to put my feet up to stop swelling in my legs, shame u can't upgrade to room on railpass

There is a huge difference in price between the coach and roomettes, which I am sure is the reason that the upgrade is not allowed.
