Great vid..there are 4 more proposed Metro North stations, all in the Bronx, starting a couple mins south of New Rochelle (Co-op City, Morris Park, Parkchester, Hunts Point)

Well i can tell you that in a few years from now Metro North will have the New Haven line trains will join with Amtrak following down the northeast corridor line to Penn Station in New York City.

Greetings from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil! I really liked your video, congratulations. My only experience with Amtrak was in April 2009. I went from NYC Penn Station to Wilmington, DE (now Joe Biden Jr. Station) in an Acela Express and the ride was great, fast and smooth, enjoyed a lot, took pictures, filmed to myself, etc. Today everything is easier and more practical with KZbin, but I still have some DVD's about Amtrak, Pennsylvania Railroad and cab rides between NYC and Washington, DC, and from NYC to New Haven and Boston. Not counting books on Pennsy, New York & New Haven RR, Amtrak and HO scale railroad models of those RR's. Thank you so much for sharing this great video and all the best!

I've always wanted to travel via Amtrak train. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances I can't but this video makes me happy! So glad I could view it from home.

Enjoyed watching the video. Reminds of when I used to live in New Haven, CT and took Amtrak trains to Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

I am about to do this trip next Saturday. Do you just print your tickets ahead of time and show them to the attendants?

Does anyone know if the left side or right side of the train car has the better window scenery on the northeast regional? Also the silver meteor? Thanks 🌞
@FFred-us9tw3 жыл бұрын
Going west (from Boston to NYC is classified as west) the left side will be views of the water and the right side the trees. So the left side is preferred by most people. But the scenery is nice on both sides. As for the Silver Meteor, either side is fine.

A great video to post how the train moves on New Haven Line is funny with how the infrastructure works.

A new delta company carrier of a political ACS-64 locomotive is a new open approach to a company of older political times at an office setting of a great settlement of political things and motivations of a great political company for the federal government.

Great video ! Can you keep that camera angle with seats and window. I like this view because I know it’s a Amtrak coach.

Hi Captain Ace, what a great video. I enjoyed it. Never saw the inside of an Acela train. Looks very streamlined and clean. Kinda reminds me of Chicago's South Shore Line. Have you ever been to Chicago? That's where I'm from. Lot's of trains to see here.

Other than the walk to the platform this is an awesome video, thank you for sharing this. I think it’s awesome that you still ride the trains, I’m too worried with Covid-19 still around.

A phenomenal job making this video in general when the train runs with AC power of a 6 volt to a 25 volt in New Rochelle.

Only in America would an intercity train be just as fast as a local commuter service! LOL. Seriously though, the fact Amtrak Northeast Regional trains often take two hours to travel from New Haven to NYC (a distance of just 77 miles!) is a scathing indictment of this nation's broken rail transportation system and infrastructure. What a joke!!!
@ZazzelTheGamer2 жыл бұрын
Bruh, what would be the need to go that fast on such a short distance? You seriously can't sit your ass down and wait an hour? Where tf you rushing to? Take it fking slow for a change.
