Just saw the timestamp for this video. Does it really take almost four hours to get their by train??? That's unacceptably slow.

It has been a pleasure throughout, the many.years of Amtrak travel, itself. Never did the Southwest Chief yet, via LA. But the past videos of those Amtrak, travels are intriguing. Because a passenger gets to sleep, in a bedroom. With an in-room shower & bathroom. What a blessing! Great accomodations etc. A hotel on wheels. Smile. Long distance rail travel is amazing. Scenic in seeing the sights. Passing through the different cities. I'd like to embark on that opportunity, in experiencing it all one day soon.

I'm a nostalgia train buff! From the 50's etc, a bygone era. From a child duration of train travel, with family quite often. Grand Central Terminal. Connecticut, Upstate NY also.

Hey captain ace! I’ve been wondering if there is more footage to the northeast corridor railroad crossing footage that you’ve seen Is there more crossing footage after that?

This video is a wonderful relic of the past! Not only seeing the crossings on the corridor but Amtrak’s iconic northeast corridor beasts running in their prime! Wonderful Video!

What in the world was that train at about 0:25? I counted 17 cars, and not one Amfleet among them. I used to hang out at Seabrook, although it was about an hour from home. I also saw the RFK funeral train in 1968 at the crossing about where the Bowie State College station is now. At the time, the crossing was rural and out-of-the-way. I figured there'd be no one else there. WRONG!! There were cops directing traffic, and finding a safe place to park was hard,

If the aem-7 is the toaster then that must make the E60 a washing machine or refrigerator then😂
